              I took my adult daughter to HRM because of her lack of insurance. She is not currently employed. She cannot be on my insurance plan because of her age. She suffers from anxiety and finally agreed to seek help after dealing with her condition for quite a while. After speaking with her and getting the details of her situation, she was prescribed some medication and was told to call back for a follow -up appointment. My daughter called and left messages to make this appointment but never received a reply. She had questions about what the medication did and didn't do. My daughter has never been a "pill taker" and is skeptical about unknown side effects. In my opinion, any place that has the authority to prescribe medication such be more diligent to check on the welfare of that patient. HRM receives funding and should provide services to anyone in this region - not just the low-income as it appears they do. In the future, I hope my daughter can go to a "real" doctor because that is the only way to receive real help.
