Total scumbags! The "nurse", who (I can only assume suffered from some form of mild schizophrenia) seemed like the type of person they hired right off the street. First, she incorrectly took my mom's (who's an invalid) blood pressure, which was low when sitting up due to a rare disease. I tried to explain that to her, but it fell on deaf ears, unfortunately. Then, the "fake nurse" called her an ambulance after getting all up in my face and screaming at me under my own roof. When the ambulance arrived ten minutes later, they checked her blood pressure a second time and said there was nothing wrong with my mom, and let her come back home at her own volition. Because of her not going to the hospital, the nurse called me a few minutes later and acted like it was my fault somehow, screaming and ranting at me al again, and telling me she was going to report me to the state in order to cover her own a$$. The very next day, the company had a staff meeting and decided that I was somehow being manipulative over my mom's healthcare decisions, and then they abruptly quit without telling anyone... Over the next six months, I was under investigation for elder abuse because of that one crazy nurse. They called my family, and all my friends, interviewing them; asking all sorts of personal questions about me. It was a nightmare! I could have went to prison over her lies! Sadly for them, I had records to back up my claims. I eventually won my case, but still, being investigated just looks bad; even if you are proven innocent. To make matters worse, they had the nerve to try and *** us for $5,000 over a piece of equipment (a suction machine) that was already covered by the insurance company... 'Where the Heart Is' is a scam company, and I wouldn't put them in charge of making a ham sandwich. They deserve to go out of business, and possibly arrested for running a series of insurance scams on their patients. Very unprofessional! Scum!!!
