I highly recommend Platinum Painting & Construction, formerly Pruitt Painting Plus. I had the pleasure of working with the owner *********************************** and one of his crew to update the flooring in my mom's living room and kitchen, repair the framing on the back door, gutter above the back door, insulate the access to the bathtub plumbing and replace the faulty access door. All the projects were completed timely, as promised. The workmanship was excellent and ****** communicated promptly throughout the work via text, phone call, or face to face to make sure I was satisfied with their work. I was most definitely satisfied and plan to use Platinum Painting & Construction in the future.In the past I had used various handymen that I found via a contractor website. These contractors' work ranged from okay to not good at all. So, I search for more than a year without finding someone to work on my mom's house until I found myself in the checkout lane next to a guy wearing a Platinum Painting & Construction shirt. It happened to be ***********************************. I talked to him about doing flooring and other projects at my mom's house. He shared with me that he was the owner. I got his contact information and reached out to him that night. He explained to me when he could come out and give me an estimate. Before he gave me an estimate, he explained the best way to complete my projects at the least expensive cost while maintaining ****************.After this visit he emailed me the estimate to do all my projects. Because of my past experiences with contractors, I thought it was just a low estimate to get me to sign off on the work and then charge more later. But I was wrong. When he finished the project, I thought I owed him more because of the amount of time he spent making sure the project was completed with ****************. He shared with me that once he gives an estimate on what something should cost and unless some unforeseen issue arises, he does not increase his price. There were no hidden fees, and ****** was true to his estimate. He is a rare find, an honest and very friendly businessman with integrity.Several of my mom's neighbors have seen the work Platinum Painting & Construction did at her house and have started reaching out to ****** to get him to do work for them. I definitely plan to use ****** in the future to do more work at my mom's house.** conclusion, I recall ****** mentioning that if a contractor cannot work on a job without constantly asking for money, they are quite possibly financially unstable. This is not the case with Platinum Painting & Construction. The payment details were set up at the outset. ****** explained that it was best if I purchased the materials from a company he used frequently because he sometime could get a better price. He emphasized that I had the option to get material from wherever I wanted, but he always tries to get the best price for his clients. My project was completed in a week so the next time I spent money was to make the final payment. My experience with Platinum Painting & Construction was outstanding.
