I have hired Floor Works 2 years ago to do a big renovation job in my house. Part of it was installing new carpets. The initial job was done in a timely manor and everything seemed to be ok. One year ago, the carpet between my bedroom and on suite bathroom started to peel back. I had to call Jason (the owner) several times until he came over to take a look at it (Mind you, the company's office is less then 5 minutes away from my house). He told me, that he had to send a crew with a machine that stretched the carpet and put it back in position. That all was taken care of. About 2 months ago I had the same issue between my kitchen and my living room. Since this is a high traffic area the carpet started to peel back. It has been 7 weeks now, that I tried to get a hold of Jason. At one point he finally returned my call and told me, that he would send a crew to my house on Friday,08-04-23 between 3:00 and 3:30 pm, turned out that was a no show ,no call. The following Friday I called the office and spoke with his wife, who nonchalantly told me, that Jason rarely checked any of his messages, but she would talk to him. Another uneventful week went by. Yesterday I called the office again, after the phone rang a while the office girl pick up the phone and said that Jason was on the other line, but would be at my house in 20 - 30 minutes. Needless to say he never showed up and obviously decided to ignore me! I spend over $ 12.000.00 which may not be a big fish in the pond for the company, but it is a lot of money for me. I saved a long time to get the money together to have all the renovations done and now there is one issue that they don't care to fix. This is maybe a 30 minute job and falls well under the warranty. I find that a very poor work ethic and customer service !!!!
