    When we moved back to Amarillo several years ago we started using Valmed Pharmacy. I recently got a new Primary Care Physician. He called in a couple of injectables to ValMed for me. Valmed filled them for several months. Then in December I texted that I needed a refill on both meds. I heard nothing. I texted again and Michael B. a Licensed Pharmacy Technician with ValMed told me my insurance will not reimburse them for the meds. So I called my Insurance. The lady told me Valmed had submitted the prescriptions and it was approved and filled that day but then ValMed reversed the charge.. So I texted Valmed again and they ignored me. Still to this day - 3 months later- they have ignored me. So I called my Dr and he sent a new prescription for ******* and ******* to my pharmacy insurance company and they were filled. I understand there is some discussion about ******* and people using it. But my Dr felt there was a need for me with underlying conditions. But instead of ValMed calling and talking with me like grownups who own a business they lied to me and then ignored me. I wrote the owners a letter about this and I have heard nothing. So if you want ValMed to decide which medications you need, then use them. But if you think that should be up to your Dr and YOU, then go somewhere else. I moved all my business to another pharmacy.

    We have received your complaint, which was forwarded to us by the Better Business Bureau. We extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. We also apologize for not responding to your letter. We know how important communication is in situations like this.

    Due to HIPAA concerns, it's difficult for us to go into the details of your concerns, which is why we've tried to reach out to you directly via phone and text. However, we've been unable to make contact. I would personally love to discuss the details of this and answer any questions or concerns you have. Please know it has nothing to do with us disregarding what you and your physician believe is best for your health. We are here to support you!

    Please give me a call when you can. My direct number is 806-350-6337. We'd be happy to see how we can resolve this situation or transfer your prescriptions to another pharmacy. We'll also call you again this week.
