I recently received treatment at Warriors Heart in ******** **. Warriors Heart claims to be a place were Warriors heal warriors and staff members tell you Welcome Home but that is not all true. My experience there was horrible at best. You would think because of the price you pay to be there (anywhere from $70,000-$150,000 per person for 6 weeks) you would have a top quality experience. Instead you are met with under trained staff members that treat you like inmates. *** also had one of the founders ,*********************, lie to my face about how much my treatment was. He told me that it was $10,000 for me to receive treatment however when I received my invoice from my insurance it totaled over $70,000. Im not the only client there that experienced this but I am the only one that is not afraid to speak up. Currently right now I am trying to get copies of everything that was written about me. Specifically my TIs (therapeutic interventions) and BIs (Behavioral Interventions) which are a sort of negative write up. I know for a fact that the staff who wrote up those TIs and BIs lied and use them as form of retaliation. When I requested copies of the documentation I was told that it was illegal for them to release my info to me. I have had personal experiences with staff there that have lied about me on paper several times. While I was there I took a lot of notes regarding the poor treatment of veterans. I was asked to leave the Sober living Facility after I brought back my dog from home because my dog was not trained through warriors heart. This is a rule they pick and choose to follow because I personally know of other clients that live in Sober living that also have dogs not trained and they still live there. Warriors Heart also do not do detailed background checks on there staff that get hired there. Like ******************* that a few years back he was arrested for writing fake prescriptions at another rehab facility and now works at warriors heart.
