Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/10) */ This is not a matter for AAA Texas, however, we resolved the concerns of the daughter of the member ******* *****. The daughter, **** *******, has been contacted via phone and email. Ms. ******* reviewed the situations with her mother *******. She noted that the member is normally present at the time of service and also stated that due to the nature of her illness, there have been difficulties. To resolve the situation, a call on 12/30/21 was removed from the member's file for difficulties that the family had obtaining service. In addition, the granddaughter of ******* ***** (and daughter of Ms. *******) was added to the account. The granddaughter was added as an adult associate and is eligible for service until 4/30/22 when the current membership expires.

I have been working with Christain ********* and was told he was on PTO, and even contacted his manager, and left multiple voicemails and have not even had anyone pick up one single phone call for over a month. I can really use some support here to provide some guidance and help on my claim. Our car has been vandalized with the catalytic converter stolen, and the insurance covered for the repairs. But when we first spoke with the agent, they said that our car rental will also be covered by insurance and they will ALSO extend the rental to cover the fees because the repair would take up to 4 weeks. We were told this up front before agreeing to the rental because they did not quote us any costs of how much the rental would cost and told us not to worry about it. By the end of the repair, we were handed a big rental fee bill from Enterprise of $489.68.We contacted AAA and were told to submit the receipt for reimbursement, but also have not heard back on the status on this for over a week now. We have no sense of whether or not this is taken care of since our agent has not gotten back to us for over a month, like I previously mentioned. Can you please help us?

      Business response

      02/23/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2022/01/18) */ As an independently owned and operated business, *********** Towing is responsible for any damage resulting from its own actions or those of its employees. In an effort to assist you with a resolution, the Auto Club enlisted the assistance from our Member Relations department to intervene as a mediator as your attempts to resolve the matter with *********** Towing has been unsuccessful. As such, our Member Relations department has made arrangements to have your vehicle and driveway inspected. Once the damage has been inspected, the damage will be assessed to determine if *********** Towing is liable for the damage reported. The outcome will be based on findings and will be communicated to you by Ms. Elvera ****** If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Elvera ****** at (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2022/01/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My vehicle was towed on October 6th. using my four year AAA membership from La Canada Flintridge to my home in Fontana without issue, car was towed because it had suspension & overheating issues. I' m attaching a picture when it was first towed & parked at my residence. On November 7th. my vehicle was towed again. My husbands acquaintance from work used his AAA membership and service was provided by ****** towing from Fontana. AAA is requesting me videos of this date & we don't have availability to a video being recorded when it was picked up because it was across the street from my home in a cul-de-sac street vertically not facing my place. I have had asked neighbors to see if they could provide videos but have been successful because it was a while ago. On November 20, 2021 my vehicle was brought back to my home & parked on my driveway by *********** Towing. Husband was present at night time when delivered & driver of tow truck asked for a car jack and my husband didn't provided one, driver stated he was going to figure out how to download my vehicle because my driveway is in a sloped area. My husband didn't check the vehicle after delivery, area was peach dark (provided a copy to AAA of my RING camera recordings when driver was leaving, my camera only records 1-2 minutes movements) By the next morning in the daylight I promptly noticed my car damages, my car was dragged when delivered and bumper came off, damaged under the bumper & on the side, theres also damages under m car & my driveway was scratched as well. I started calling the driver on the number he had called to deliver my car several times & he hanged up on me, I also left messages for him to to return my call & he didn't call back. See current pictures after my car was delivered. Michael an agent from *********** Towing came & inspected and took pictures of my vehicle. He never got back to me, not even as a courtesy. Micheal only called AAA and said they didn't do the damages to my car. AAA told me that they had requested to them a cam camera recording of the delivery of my car & they didn't provide anything. Now AAA doesn't want to take the responsibility to have their provider/employees/contractors repair my vehicle. They are affecting and taking advantage of consumers like myself and not standing behind the services they offer to provide with their memberships. Thank you, I would appreciate your attention to my complaint & resolution in a professional manner. Respectfully, ********* ****** Business Response /* (4000, 13, 2022/01/24) */ Again, as an independently owned and operated business, *********** Towing is responsible for any damage resulting from its own actions or those of its employees.

We have Plus RV towing coverage with AAA. At approximately 6:30am while towing our camper our ***** *** truck had mechanical issues. After two hours on the telephone with AAA 24 Hour Roadside Assistance the dispatcher told us a tow truck was on the way. I asked if the tow was covered under our coverage and the response was "yes." After waiting two more hours for a tow truck a dispatcher from AAA called back and said we would have to pay $500.00 out of pocket. I called a manager Stu #XXXXXX when I expressed my frustration he became upset put me on hold and never came back. I called AAA Corporate Office and was told I could only leave a voicemail message. I had to call another towing service since we're stranded on the highway and in a very dangerous location. I would like an apology from AAA for such poor customer service and reimbursement for towing and other expenses.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/23) */ This does not appear to be a matter for AAA Texas to address. The member address is in Arizona, AAA Texas does not find a membership for the complainant and we do not have a manager named Stu. Please re-direct to the correct AAA Club for review and response.
