      We purchased a home in the fall of 2022. By the following summer one of our 2 AC units began having issues. We had American Homeshield Warranty, and reported the issue to them. Instead of assigning a local company they assigned us to ********. When we were finally able to get a technician to come out he said we just had dirty coils. That obviously didn't solve the problem, so we had submit another ticket to our home warranty for the **. Each ticket cost a fee. The same technician came out 2 or 3 weeks later and now says we needed a new closet unit. We purchased the unit and had them install it. Again, this didn't fix the issue. Another ticket and visit, and this time he claims the closet unit wasn't in fact the problem. He said we actually needed a new outdoor compressor unit. We had now gone from May through August in Texas without AC. We purchased the unit and we're now out around $8,000. Fast forward to September of this year, and the same AC unit we just had replaced is messing up. Because of potential warranties we were advised to get service through ********. We contacted them and eventually a technician came out. He was very polite and eager to help. While working I asked about warranty coverage, and he informed me that we only had manufacture warranty that doesn't apply to the work he was doing. A connection in the freon line had been leaking because it wasn't tightened properly during install. Freon had steadily been leaking as the unit ran. He said sometimes the units vibrate which can cause the connections to losen, which isn't possible. When he is finally finished he hands me a bill $717.50 due on the spot. He had to replace 5 pounds of freon at $85/lbs at my expense. I do not recommend this company. They do not stand behind their work, or put the customer first.

      Do not use this company at all. Find a local company. We are from ***********. We were told they were a local company only to find out after they installed our brand new AC unit, mind you just 3 years ago, it broke the next day due to incorrect installation. Now here we are 3 years later in record triple digit heat, and our AC is completely broken, and they are telling me I have to wait 5 days to have a technician come out. Normally I would just use another company but after dishing out over $6k, just 3 years ago on a brand new system, outside and in the attic, it is still under warranty. I have 2 small daughters and 2 older daughter, 3 dogs, myself and my husband and our upstairs is reading 95 degrees and downstairs 87 degrees.After complaining everyday, they send a technician out who tells us a part is broken due to not being installed correctly. He will need to order the part and will be back in 2 days. The day of that appt,They didnt even bother to call us or let us know they were even coming for our scheduled appointment bc the part isnt available, also the technician didnt even notate that the original installation was botched. So now here we are a total of 7 days without AC. Ive called multiple times. Ive asked for a supervisor 5 times and still have not spoke to any higher **** We keep getting told if we dont want to wait, we can call another company, but why would I, when I have a warranty. I told them that if any of us gets sick and we go to the hospital that I will personally hold them liable for the bill and they said that they wont pay it and it does not work that way. I said if we go to a hotel then they should foot the bill and they said they will not. *****, ***** and ****** are all condescending jerks. Dont use this company at all, look elsewhere, they are not reliable. They are not prompt & they do not install equipment correctly. They are liars and cheats. clearly they do not know how to do their jobs properly like installing an AC

      Unfortunately this customer was unhappy with when we were able to schedule the repair. This repair required an install team instead of a technician. The repair was completed 8/28/24.

      To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a formal complaint against A-US Air Conditioning of Texas, *** regarding an incident that occurred on July 16, 2024. American Home Shield hired the company to repair my air conditioner, but the technician, ******, was caught going through my personal belongings instead of performing the agreed-upon service.On the day of the scheduled repair, ****** was supposed to fix my air conditioner. However, I discovered him rifling through my personal items. This invasion of privacy left me feeling extremely violated in my own home. When confronted, ****** lied and denied any wrongdoing, despite being caught in the act.I am deeply dissatisfied with the both companies handling of this situation and ******** unprofessional conduct. This experience has eroded my trust in both companies and its employees.I request that the Better Business Bureau take appropriate action to address this complaint and prevent similar incidents from happening to other customers in the future.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

      If you want to reply, you can note that the person in question was addressed by the manager that took her complaint. The employee denied any inappropriate behavior and without any evidence to the contrary, our company policies limit any corrective actions that could be taken. We do regret that your experience was an unpleasant one and we have noted your account for that employee not to be sent for service again.

      An air-conditioning technician was sent to my house because my air conditioner was not working. He tested the electricity going to the air conditioning unit and it was only putting in 110 versus 220 that it needed. He stated it was not something he could fix and I would need to contact any electrician. he then went and made a report stating my air conditioner was wired wrong and caused the compressor to fail. That was a lie. I had a different local technician come out and he looked at it and said it was wired correctly. The breaker issue was fixed and my air conditioner is working great. I will refuse any more work from A-US AIR COND OF TEXAS ****

      Made up troubleshooting charges for over $2230 etc... called in another A/C company they put 2 lbs of refrigerate for $140 been working fine. Company is a rip off if you use them get second opinion.

      A-US air conditioning has poor customer service. They refuse to transfer me over to a supervisor when I request to speak to one. They were contracted out from our home warranty company to replace our AC unit. The lead contractor showed up his his crew, he dropped off the workers, left and did not return until the job was completed. The city showed up later to do their inspection and failed A-US air conditioning. The job was never completed. A-US refused to come out and finish. They request a work order from the warranty company who wants more money to start the order. I contacted another company to show up and fixed what A-US failed to do in which was just a cheap job to get money from us. Highly do NOT recommend.

      I HAVE never had such a NON-RESPONNSIVE, UNRELIABLE SERVICE AS long as I owned my home. Being a resident of Texas, we rely on working AC units to keep us comfortable. Unfortunately my unit began to fail when I reached out to American Home Shield for my insurance warrantee support. I have been using AHS for 20 years with satisfied services. I have been a paying member and relied on good service, response times and replacements if necessary. My disappointment comes today when placing a service request on Friday 5/3. The assigned contractor anticipated a repair on site Monday 5/6. When I called A-US at 4:00 Monday, I was then told the tech had already come; and completed the assigned job and repaired the unit. After being at home all day 8a-4p I KNEW this was NOT the ***** NO ONE from A-US came to my home. Now we must wait until Wednesday 5/8 to get this dishonest, unreliable, untrustworthy HVAC; person from A-US to enter into my home for the repair. As far as I am concerned, I should only trust and allow a reputable company to respond to my need.I have health concerns, and this is of the upmost priority to get addressed immediately. I contacted A-US/AHS 4 times today. We never heard from the technician directly regarding a ETA Unfortunately no one took appropriate actions to resolve this matter. I could say Im more upset about the lying technician and that AHS would use such a contractor who claims :"Regulated" by the Texas ***** of ********* and Regulations TACLB 29422C TACLB 35160C

      My my my where to start. This company really *****. Their dispatches lie and technicians are horrible. they was suppose to fix my heat instead left me with two days of cold inside my home. Instead of replacing the part they clean it off. They put a band aide on it. the tech act like they are running the company. I'm glad i will not ever have to use them or AHS again. The owner of this company needs to do a review of his technicians and start sending out surveys to his customers to see how and what these SAT

      A-USAir allows their technicians to straight up lie about diagnostics. I live in the ****** ** area and ****** (Service Tech) is the worse. Tells us one thing and then turns around and tells ********************* something completely different so that claim gets denied and would have to pay out-of-pocket for repairs. Talked to different levels of mgmt at A-USAir and all back their technician's diagnosis without listening to the facts. Worse company and customer service ever!

      If I could give them zero stars I would! Our home warranty sent a technician out from this company and the customer service is absolute trash. The technician, ******, sent a text the night before letting us know hed be here between 3-7pm the next day. We get a call from the home warranty representative stating we need to reschedule because the technician came by an no one was home. This was at 1:45. Mind you he told us hed be here between 3-7. WHAT!?!? He made no effort to reach out to us to let us know he was here. No call, no text. We tried reaching out to him and he BLOCKED our number. How unprofessional. Weve been without AC since last Thursday in Texas. Its been 85 degrees in our house every single day. We are now told no one can come out until Thursday. What a joke. I plan on taking matters further than this- so everyone please beware and try to avoid them!!
