I'm seeking Legal assistance as I do believe that I'm being discriminated against I have been with this bank almost a three years and in the past I actually went into a bank and sat down with someone who helped me secure my account as my ex wife was accessing my funds. I then placed a hold on my account for six months due to travel but I've long since returned and I was involved in a car accident resulting in my legs being amputated and banking with this bank has been a nightmare. I ordered a debit card and one of the roommates I suspect ordered a card overheard me on the phone and they depleted my funds. Long story short I made a police report and filed a claim and these ungodly unprofessional people are holding my funds to the point I can't even get a current balance reading. The hold should have been removed months ago ive changed my account password and everything and I'm being made to identify myself with every call. Which is protocol I get that my problem lies with me informing you that I have been in a car accident and your supervisor responded by shutting off my new card I never used and demanding my prescence. This is clearly discrimination and I am planning to sue those I contacted about this. This serves as your demand letter for the account belonging to John Bishop to be restored to its original formality at once and without delay and return my funds at once this is not proper policy or within your power to make any decisions based on your personal opinion. I have identified myself in full and you are violating my rights and if my demand is not met immediately you will be hearing from my attorney.First National Bank Texas Response

I had to close an account for my brother when he died. They sent a cashiers check via certified mail. **** could not deliver the mail related to some Postal error (they got their own 1 star review). Anywho, the letter went back and forth from ****** to ******* and back again on local tour for about 60 days. In the meantime i had to wait for them to reissue another cashiers check. 90 days. So when that occurred I asked for another check, since I had never received the last one. The *************** process has me filling out a form to be notarized at my expense ($10) to say that I lost or had the check stolen....when I never saw it or even know that they sent the check. I never touched it.First National Bank Texas Response

Im making this complaint as I have been on hold for over 2 hrs and the machine was telling me I will be with someone in less than 5 minutes. I had fraudulent charges back on 6/10/24 and here we are now with no money. It was my sons birthday and I still have yet to buy him a gift because this bank cant get their fraud department together *** never had to wait 2 weeks for a fraudulent charge to be investigated and when I spoke with someone yesterday on 6/24 I was told they would provide a provisional credit and that was not done. This is ruining me and setting me behind on my bills and keeping food out of my kids mouths. I got this bank for convenience of being close to me but all they have done is set me behind on my bills and I bet they wont even credit back my account. DO NOT BANK HERE.First National Bank Texas Response

This bank is a rip off. They just told me that because I had my account under 90 days that in order to cancel them I had to pay a $25 fee in order to get rid of them. I would not recommend them to anyone. Plus the employees were dancing and playing loud music in their branch in ******* in ******** and were so unprofessional. Truly ghetto business all the way around. DONOT USE THIS BANK.First National Bank Texas Response

I deposited more money in my account today and then went to use my card...it was declined. I already had money in the account so I was wondering why I wasn't working. I call customer service and they told me the **** card system is down so I can't use the card unless I manually put in the numbers. Wtf!!! They didn't know when it will be fixed and told me to "just keep trying". Like I am going to keep being embarrassed and frustrated being they do not know what they are doing. I will be closing my account and banking elsewhere very soon! I advise anyone not to bank with these idiots!!First National Bank Texas Response

I'm a Senior Citizen and am extremely happy with First National Bank Texas. Here in *********** ******** they bought out three old *********** locations in three ******* stores, and I hope they are successful, remain here, and continue to do business in ***********.I'm old school and all I use is the online website to check daily for fraudulent transactions and my balance. It works beautifully and has never been down or malfunctioning like most of the other banks systems do. I never have had a problem with their debit card not working or being declined even though I have money in my account. They also let me have my Social Security check a day or two before I'm supposed to get it.I pay bills the old fashioned way with cash, paper check or debit card, and prefer to use the old school ***** telephone method of payment. In the last six months I've been notified twice of my information being taken in online data breaches, 23andme DNA testing website and *************** cable company. Nine months ago some ******** billing company mailed me a letter with the *********** that my ******** number and other information had been compromised. Something like several years ago my former employer notified me as well that my information had been breached. Then back in 2020 someone used my name, date of birth, and Social Security number to steal $10,000 of pandemic unemployment funds from the State of ******* This was all done online without anyone going into the unemployment office and showing their ID to get unemployment benefits. After going through all the trouble I've been through with police reports, bank fraud, IRS Identity theft complaints, having to get ***** Systems to remove bank fraud reports under my name, I'm done with doing anything online again, unless it's a dire emergency or absolutely no other way to deal with it. If I get a paper check I'm going to take it to the branch and deposit it in person, and in no way use my smartphone to mobile deposit it.First National Bank Texas Response

This bank is a joke. Their bill pay system is antiquated and useless. Even electronic payments take 5 days to reach the payee, Every time a new payee is added the account gets flagged for fraud and locked. It happened to me 3 times in 1 week and their response was "we're required to act on fraud notices". After the 2nd time it was locked I found out that they don't even have their own bill pay system, they rely on a 3rd party. Must be the cheapest 3rd party system on the planet. I've only been with them since October but it's obviously time to find a new bank.First National Bank Texas Response

First Convenience Bank has been an absolute joke. I deposited a check with them in the amount of $5,167.75 on 12/27/2023. After about a half hour of phone calls and panic behind the counter, I was told that the best they could do with approval was deposit $2,500 of it that day and release the remainder ($2,667.75) after a 3 day hold. Except that the 3 day hold fell on a holiday. So the 3 day hold was from 12/27 to 1/02. I was given paperwork from the branch stating this information in plain text. Imagine my surprise when I checked my account a couple of days later to find that I was down to my last $300. I called the bank who informed me that they had pulled the initial $2,500 and would not be able to give me access to the full amount until 1/5/2024. Quick recap: I deposited a check with my name on it from my employer and the bank promptly held it hostage from 12/27/2034 to (hopefully theyll honor this one) 01/05/2024. I paid for the cremation of my mother in law the same day I found out theyre holding my money because I knew this Christmas bonus would help soften the blow. Thanks, 1st Convenience Bank. Cant wait to shut down my 10 year old account like I should have done years ago and go find a bank that will exchange funds for checks. Ya know, like banks do.First National Bank Texas Response

Pending info is slow. I had money in my account and got declined even though the app and bank account showed I had enough. I was confused until I saw that sh*t was still pending from long ago compared to other banks I primarily bank with USAA, who has pending, but it doesnt last days long, barely even hours. I should be able to use this card without worrying about pending transactions you all fail to run in decent timing. I do not recommend this bank for serious or any matter. Maybe emergencyput money in to hold onto. Spending wise, they slow as f*ck! You cant see whether you got it or not. You cant see whether you should add more or not. I guess I should have expected such from a low end, barely known bank. Anyways, this bank is only good for little matter and should rarely be taken seriously. Thanks for ****! Dumb a** bank.First National Bank Texas Response
