I had an incident on my trip from *******, as my vehicle's oil line began to leak all of the oil out. Loving Toyota in Lufkin, ** was the nearest dealership to me whom I took my vehicle in to get serviced. Upon inspection they determined my rubber oil cooler lines need to be replaced with new metal part. I was told they will replace it with a OEM Toyota part the next day and I had to get an overnight hotel. It's been two weeks now and I noticed the gaskets on the replaced oil cooler lines are leaking oil. I called the dealership on July 18th spoke to service and parts to confirm if the part was replaced with OEM Toyota part that I was promised and payed for, but they told me no it was replaced with an aftermarket part from ********. I even have part number document that I was showed by the service advisor and was told that they have ordered me the toyota oem part and will be coming the next day. I also noticed that all the oem bolts and clips on the cover underneath that I originally had is replaced with improper bolts. They did not even put back my correct clips and bolts! I have been lied to and paid for oem toyota part, but instead they installed an aftermarket oil cooler line that is already starting to leak from the gaskets.I only asked to have an aftermarket part if the service was able to done on the same day, but the service advisor ******* told me it cannot be completed. That is when he told me that he will go ahead with ordering the original toyota/lexus oem part which I only approved to have especially if I am staying overnight for the job to be done. Attached are the invoice that I was given for original part and price, but you can see in the final invoice that an aftermarket part was installed without my discretion.
