BE AWARE!!! Upon trying to open up a retail business (SMALL 100x60 building), I came to learn that I'm going to need engineering plans per Chambers County regulations , so I set out to find one. I came across CEI via online, and even though it had some bad reviews I gave it the benefit of doubt per one reviewer who thanked ******. After months and months (6months!!!!!!) of dealing with ****** himself, I always gave it the benefit of doubt, until I realized that I was doing his job. I was the one making calls and touching base with the county engineers, third party engineers, and even contacting the commissioner after what seemed to be excuses for ****** that he was waiting for them to contact him. I was learning about Texas Subdivisions Regulations, reading about Texas articles, I was doing to what ****** himself said "above and beyond, more than any owner has done that I have dealt with". His excuses where always "I'm waiting for a call back", "I didn't receive a email from them", "I'll have the plans ready for you next week", "It's the holidays right now", "I'm really booked up right now", "I'll see if I can take care of it by the end of this week because I'll be gone next week". He never replied to an email! I had to start popping up randomly because he wouldn't return a phone call or email. The horrible thing about it is that I do shift work and my time off is limited to the things I need to do. So you can imagine that I didn't get to contact him during the normal week hours because I would work nights, then to be off on the weekend and wait patiently until I'm back on days. I finally had enough of his go around on the last email that I sent out regarding an issue that ****** could have looked into a long time ago specifically stating, to the ******** engineering, "currently my engineer is working on updating them to try to meet the requirements.". He promised to have them done over the weekend. A whole week later, I still didn't hear from ******. I decided to
