Avoid this contractor! Horrible! ******** referred them (I had no choice), and they did an initial inspection pre-construction, but apparently never referred to their notes! His son Shae was manager, and actually sheetrock & textured the inside, THEN lets me know the home needs foundation levelling (he didn't refer to his notes!) Sheetrock was ruined. When COVID hit, I put project on hold, but when I went to restart it, had one phone call with Brett, who said he needed to "refer to the notes" & would get back. Both myself and the escrow company holding funds, made numerous attempts to set up a conference call with him to no avail - he ghosted us. Four months later, he suddenly calls back, contentious, not wanting to own damage their contractors did during construction, and blaming the foundation people or vandals for it all. What I didn't realize was the date he called was one day after the termination of the contract! He ghosted me and the escrow company intently to run out the clock and not have to finish the project. Great thing for him as the allegedly "finished electric work" was not finished, and they sheetrocked around the tied up bare wires! (I have pics!) Additionally, they didn't finish the sheetrocking either, unsheetrocked areas in a closet, and both upstairs baths. They even padded their sheetrock pay by creating a double-sided wall between kitchen and dining room that doesn't exist (I have PDF on that!) Lastly, they collected $1225 for re-framing the master bath, which they never touched! Allstate was no help, very poor communication (or non-existent) on their part. The escrow company rep stated she had problems with Brett & Allweather on another project where he simply wasn't calling back (presumably to do the same and run out the clock.) Caveat emptor - this is not a company you want to contract with!
