Daniel M****** with Custom Carpentry is literally incapable of doing subpar work. He and his employee Brian did a master bath remodel for me, down to the studs, with a wall moved to make the shower bigger. Though it’s a small bathroom, it was a significant project. He also did significant electrical and plumbing work. I needed several lines of electricity run to the bathroom and ended up having old plumbing below the floor that needed to be replaced. When he found an issue he informed me of it and appraised me of the additional cost. He fixed some problems that didn’t even have to do with the master bathroom—such as the fact that he found that the fan from the basement bathroom directly below the master bath, vented in between the floors! There was no duct leading to the outside, so he put one in, which he really didn’t have any obligation to do. He also found a frayed electrical wire in the attic that could have been a fire hazard and took care of it. They laid down tarps from the entry to the work area every day and picked them up every night and vacuumed and left all their tools organized neatly and out of the way. He invests in high quality materials—the stuff underneath that no one ever sees but that is most important for the water proof integrity of the space. I am a very detail oriented person and anything out of alignment and such would make me crazy, but no worries there. All the lines are straight, the parts come together perfectly and I’m thrilled to the moon with my beautiful new master bathroom!! He has greatly added to the safety and value and integrity of my home. Daniel is a master craftsman. I highly recommend Daniel M****** and Custom Carpentry for any building or remodeling job.
