      4/21/2022 A technician checked our unit and stated that the compressor failed. Airflow notified the next day April-May 2023 Airflow notified and then ordered a new compressor, 3 weeks waiting for this part.*** and **** from Airflow installed a new compressor and the system did not work.*** and **** from Airflow stated that a new electric plug needed to be ordered. Another week waiting for this part,.*** from Airflow installed the plug and the system did not work. He tried to add freon but he said it would not take.** then said the control board was bad. NOTE: Airflow already had a control Board in their possession from their misdiagnosis of 7/5/19)Two days later, ***************************************** from Airflow removed the original control board and closely reviewed the board for any damage He said that there were no obvious brown or burn marks on the board and said that normally it would show where the fault was on the board. He kept the old board and said that he would send it back to the factory. (I'm not sure why he would do this if he was going to install a new board?) Again, I thought he would install a new fuse before assuming that a new control board was needed.Airflow has technicians that seem to keep replacing parts until the problem is fixed. Just about every part on the outside unit has been replaced within the first 7 years after it was installed.Nevertheless, he continued to install the new control board and finally a new fuse. It may be understandable that the compressor, the capacitor, a fuse, and the compressor electric plug connection may go bad, but to have a $558.00 control board to go bad at the SAME TIME does not seem reasonable for our 7 year old unit 5/25/2023 Airflow sent us a bill for $3,308.00 for all the parts that they replaced.They refused to acknowledge that we had a 10-year parts warranty that ***************** from AirFlow promised he would register. They also said that ***************** does not work for them anymore.
