    I used equipment correctly and it broke,I sign contract and paid for rental and repair for drain snake,cable broke,my problem was not solved.

    Good afternoon *******,We apologize you ran into your issue while renting the drain snake on April 22nd. Being in the rental industry we know that all equipment, no matter how well maintained, will eventually break given enough opportunities. Because of this we allow free swaps, extra time, or rescheduling of rentals if a piece of equipment breaks from general wear and tear, through no fault of the customer. However, when you called on the afternoon of April 22nd you reported that the cable itself on the drain snake snapped. During inspection we found that the bolt that held the cable onto the machine had snapped. This is damage that is not indicative of during normal use and is usually due to one end of the cable becoming stuck, but still attempting to turn the cable. The machine was rented at 12:01 pm for a 4 hour time period. The machine itself was returned at 1:58 pm without the cable. The cable itself was returned at 9:23am the next morning. Even though this exceeded the 4 hour rental we understood your predicament and only charged you for 4 hours. We understand it was never your intention to damage the equipment. When the cable was returned you signed an additional document acknowledging the damages.During the repairs we only charged you for the labor of making the repairs and not a new cable. This covered labor costs of $46.35 with no markup on our labor. We understand that mishaps can happen on any rental and try to be understanding when damage occurs. However when damage is caused we still must cover costs. We attempted to minimize the cost exposure you had to endure by reducing the time of the rental and only charging minimal labor to fix the machine. We hope that our next rental together is smooth and we look forward to working with you again in the future!
