Buyer beware! They received one star because you had to choose something. I purchased a warranty they talked me into because it would repair or replace for 5 years. 2 years into my warranty, I needed a repair. After spending mine came and looked and told me he needed to order parts. They would be delivered here and then I was to call them and they would come and fix my recliner. The parts never came and Im pretty sure it is because the chair isnt available anymore. So I was then told I would get a new chair and they would call me with a delivery day to swap the chairs out. I get a new one they would take away the broken one. After a few weeks of waiting, I called again. This time I was told I would be getting a gift card and I would need to just repurchase a new chair. After a few weeks of waiting. I contact them to be given the run around. Finally the warranty company tells me they cant and wont be fixing my chair because the man who came and inspected it to begin with told them it was broke because I abused the chair. Although he showed me the issue and told me he would get the parts to fix it. The issue was a bent frame. It broke because of horrible quality, not abuse. After contacting Ashley and being transferred for 2.5 hours they finally told me they couldnt help me because although the sell the insurance they have no say in what it covers. I asked if they backed their products and the things they sell and they said they do but they still couldnt help me. I was ripped off the cost of the warranty and Im stuck with a broken cheaply made piece of junk of a recliner.Review from Charlotte Y

I purchased a chair and matching ottoman two weeks ago and paid cash. I was given a delivery date of 10-10-24 between 12pm-2pm. I called to confirm the day prior to delivery and the time had changed. No one, absolutely no one called me to inform me of the change ... what a way to do business! I spoke with a total of 7 people and all I heard was "I'm so sorry." To make it worst I had a crucial doctor's appointment and had to cancel it due to this change. To end my rant this was my first time purchasing furniture from Ashley in ************************* and it will be my last! DISAPPOINTEDReview from Erinn D

They are terrible..purchased sofa and it is awful..I had 2 employees come out at different times and got the same email saying it met manufacturers standards.. I first called within 3 days and then again 2 more times. The small sofa will probably not last 6 months..very bad customer service. If this is the standard way the manufacturer makes their furniture they need to be fired.Review from Jean C

Poor customer service. Once the sale is done, they are through with you.This is the wrong place to buy a mattress. I bought a Temporpedic and had problems beginning the first week in my home. This is 8 months later, they no longer take my calls. The tech agreed the mattress was factory defective, said it needed to be replaced. That was 2 months ago. In the meantime I'm stuck with a $1,200+ mattress that pains to sleep on it.I am 82yrs old. Must be somewhere I can get some help.JRCReview from James B

This company uses a financial institution to promote sales and promotions that target the public with attractive prices. However they push their financial company offering easy sales. For instance they promote 12 month interest free term. But the bill came with a minimum payment, even though the we agreed to the 12 month option. The payment would immediately cancel the 12 month agreement, thus allowing Ashley to apply all at once the interest they claimed we saved. We ignored the minimum payment and paid by our calculations the amount that would pay off in the 12 month. We continued to in this way, unfortunately we got the due date mixed up and paid a day or two later and they took this opportunity charge back all of the interest we'd thought we saved. Needless to say we felt like we'd scammed at the corporate level, not from the normal idea of scammers. My suggestion is to go with your financial support, or use a different furniture store, any company that uses this type of tactic to steal money from their customers, does not deserve your business. This company should distance itself from the financial institution. We will not visit this furniture store again, nor should youReview from Heather H

If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely worst experience. I had a full ***room set and a queen *** delivered. Both Damaged. Sent replacement for Queen *** two weeks later and sent wrong size legs. Wait another week to get correct size. Dresser drawer with the full *** damaged. Still waiting on a replacement drawer. Every time I call, ** told 7-10 days. Today, almost a month later, ** told its coming from over sees, it will be another 3-4 weeks. I will never purchase from Ashley again. I would give a zero star if possible because I bought last year a sectional and since it came I have had issues.The 1st one is related with the odor that the sofa came but after a month was over and didnt bother us anymore. But after a while my husband started to have some rashes every time he sat on the couch. I did the cleaning care following the care instructions in the warranty brochure and it still continued to work. In the middle of June I got in touch for the first time because the frame of one of the arms is loose and falling and a strange noise happens every time we sit down. After countless calls, transfers and apologies, after almost 1 month no one got back to me or made an appointment to repair my sofa, which is still under warranty.So bad product bad customer service.Review from Barbara G

I would give a ZERO if I could since I have been dealing with this same issue for a little over 2 years. I purchased an accent cabinet and the product was delivered and set up, but there was an issue with it. I was told that day and when I purchased a product that if its not right, they would have it corrected and or repaired or replaced. After three visits from a technician, and they still could not repair the accent cabinet, they sent another of the same cabinet that was damaged and I refused it. I went into the store to select another style after they said the first one had been discontinued. They sent three of the new style three different times and they were all damaged when they arrived and I refused each of them. I have been told that they would just refund me my money and pick up the cabinet that I have. I have been calling ************************* at customer care for months. I have spoken with her several times however she has not , resolved the issue and concerns that I have. *** missed work waiting on these deliveries and hours of calling ************* and I still have the first original damaged accent cabinet. I have left *************** numerous messages and she fails to call me back. I am so disappointed with Ashley Furniture as I have dealt with them in the past and have spent thousand of dollars with them. But this has damaged my relationship with them and it has stressed me out. I need a satisfactory resolution. I am just sick and tired and need this resolved.Review from Regina E

I wish I could give a zero rating. Lift top coffee table ordered online (other items ordered in same time frame but not same order number. They were fine). Opened box and found no assembly instructions. Called and was finally able to talk to a local store who emailed me the instructions. Since these assemblies are a combo of bad IKEA and a screwy puzzle, I was going slowly to ensure I got it all right. Got to piece F and discovered it was too short, making the drilled holes not align.Chatted online and was told a replacement would be sent in **** days. Checked and didnt see the acknowledgment order in my account. Called. Was reassured **** days. Called on day 9 (thought it was 10) was reminded they still had one more day. Waited 2 more days because of Presidents Day (yes, stores are 24/7 but apparently all other operations are M-F only.This call someone finally told me the replacement part was in back order until sometime in June. I was offered a full replacement which I refused (why get another screwed up item) and asked for a full refund. Told since I didnt call within 72 hours (not business days for this!) from time of delivery my request for refund would need to come from back office.Last email I was told to donate the defective piece to a charity of my choice, submit the receipt and then theyd refund my purchase price. Sure, hand off a defective piece, no longer have to replace the piece, and likely never refund my money.IF my money is refunded Ill update this review. Ill be pleasantly surprised if I am refunded.
