A sad situation for a tragically run 24 hr emergency clinic.I was turned away when my dog was in a dire condition and they claim they were to busy. As a result it took me almost 2 hrs to find another clinic much further away and my dog went into cardiac arrest and died. Whether they could have saved her or not I will never know , but thats not the point.Getting her to a vet in 15 min as opposed to 2 hrs could have been life saving.If your advertising to be a ****************************************************************** place to accommodate that service. And have the appropriate policies in place to take a dire situation over less dire situations. And trained staff.To make matters worse they had a staff person call me to offer a totally inappropriate apology for the situation ( no doubt they felt guilty) who agreed with me that the facility is poorly managed. It seemed apparent that they are also operating with a very disgruntled staff. The management didnt even have the decency to speak with me. ( another guilty observation).I did file a complaint with the County of Loudoun ( health ***** who glossed it over with some Type of Umbrella regulation that they obviously use to get rid of you. And they did not address the actual complaint but something totally different . A typical situation where someone does not Listen!In conclusion I am sadly devastated by this sudden tragic loss of my Pet. Shame on Blue Ridge for such inhumane actions. I am considering further legal action as they need their hands slapped and be brought to the realization that you cant get away with this type conduct.R
