Residential Express Services (RSE) inspected my HVAC when I bought my condo 3 years ago. The AC wasn't that cold and the system needed some refrigerant. They did a great job and the price was reasonable. Fast forward 3 years. My AC died over the weekend. I had the system off because the weather had gotten cold. I decided to fire up the heat, but the fan motor didn't turn on. I was thinking it was a fuse, but wasn't comfortable changing a 15A fuse. I used the Yelp contractor finder to reach out to several HVAC companies before remembering that Residential Express had previously helped me. I was able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Imagine my surprise when the same technician (Maged) that serviced my AC three years ago arrived at my door. I was shocked. I don't know of many companies that can retain their staff that long, but it does indicate that they take care of their staff as well as they take care of their customers. Maged went thru the system and determined that the blower motor had failed. He contacted Carrier to see if there was any warranty left on mine while also locating a part. He explained the issue and informed me that he had located an in stock replacement part and what the cost was. I approved the work, and he showed up the next morning at 8am with the replacement blower motor. After installation, he checked the refrigerant level and made sure everything else was operating as expected. He also installed a smart thermostat for me. I would highly recommend RSE if you have any heating or air conditioning issues that need professional assistance. I will certainly contact them in the future if the need arrises.
