Well, at least this place did not call me while we were in *****. Instead, this pet resort left me an email on the way back from a foreign country telling me that my dog was no longer welcomed at their facility.I took my dog to the groomer, as soon as I could book an appointment. So, on top of being exhausted from a 12 hour flight... I had to wait for my dog's grooming appointment 3 hours later. The groomer down the street told me that my dog was well-behaved. My dog showed no aggression during the bath. Maybe, Big Valley needs to take lessons on how to correctly take dogs a bath. My dog was so filthy when I picked him up from Big Valley Pet resort. My dog looked as if someone poured dirt on him. His under belly was coated in dirt. At least, sponge the dogs off when they come back inside. I can just imagine my dog lying in his own filth all night.What was really alarming to me, was when the manager or worker told me to, " take my dog to a dog park". According to my Vet or pet doctor, the worst thing a pet owner could do is take a dog to the dog park. A dog park has "poop" from other dogs that are not vaccinated. A dog park might have dogs that have Rabies. Dog Parks have harmful larvae or ticks/fleas in the grass. Maybe, Big Valley needs to have a Vet come in and talk to them about dog parks. My dog only has me. There are no other dogs around me or my dog. When I brought my dog to the Big Valley resort. I told the owner or helper that my dog stays in the house all day with me. This dog is like an only child. My dog is use to having all his toys and food to himself. My dog is not use to sharing. Again, if your dog is a Husky or any other high energy dog: Don't bring them to Big Valley.
