This business is all about robbing you for as much money as you can, they say it's 100 percent satisfaction guarantee and they say if you file a refund request within 30 days of purchases the service they will refund the full amount other then the ***** activation fee. But if you even answer one question on the questionnaire to fill out the divorce papers they will no longer refund the money, so basically you can only get a refund if you do absolutely nothing. I purchased the platinum service which is ****** and they still charge you ****** for the basic service. I was under the impression that they send the divorce papers to both myself and my spouse with the platinum service but that was not the case, so when I received my papers I requested a refund of the ****** for the platinum service, and they informed me since they sent the papers and since I filled out the questionnaire they will not refund it. I requested the refund long before 30 days, and the only thing they had done is send me the papers in the mail, which the only difference from the basic service is I download the papers if using basic, I filed the divorce on my own because I saw no reason to send papers back and fourth because it would take longer, and they justify keeping the 399 for platinum even though I didn't continue with the service, just because they mailed me some papers. They didn't even have to file the papers or do any part of their job for the platinum service. And they only let you speak to the refund people thru email. They would not transfer me to a refund department over the phone, nor would they let me speak to a supervisor, they are a complete scam company simply stealing your money for services they did not complete, and all they do over the phone is repeat a script and don't actually answer questions you ask outside of the script. Hi, I just realized that this website has never stop charging me the super high storage fee, USD$39,99.The entire time I have paid USD$1,118.76 for this website, and has never get any assistance.I would like to request the refund for the period that I didnt log in or not being active on this website, cause I think the total fee is not reasonable.I end up hiring an attorney with lower cost and fully support to answer my question. This website is not helpful and not being responsible to keep as their promise. 100% customer satisfiation.Review from Jason S

This business employees, a bait and switch tactic. They advertise that for $159. You can complete your divorce. However, after paying that amount, then they offer further benefits for additional charges, this is after youre already locked into $159. Also, it is not very clear that $39.99 will be a monthly reoccurring charge for the platform subscription. This is a complete scam and I would stay away.OnlineDivorce.com Response

The $159 divorce service gives you access to our website. There, you can access resources and complete the questionnaire, and our software will generate your divorce forms based on your answers. You also have access to instructions for filing so your case can be adequately filed and finalized with the court.

I called into their customer service center and was given false information. I paid for the process based on this false information and when I asked for a refund was told I could not get the refund because I have my forms. The forms that were provided cannot be used because I am not eligible to file on those grounds. I called in stating I wanted to file for divorce in SC and wanted to know if there were any other ways to file other than being separated for 1 year continuously. The representative looked up the laws and assured me that I could file based on irreconcilable differences and would not have to wait the full year. I paid for the services based on this information. When I received the documents, they stated I was filing based on 1 year continuous separation (the exact thing I asked when I called). Since I cannot use these documents, I requested a refund and was denied. I've only opened one of the documents and feel it was a waste of money because I could've prepared those same documents myself so why would I pay for them? I have filed for divorce before based on 1 year continuous separation and completed the paperwork myself so I would never call and pay for something I can do myself. I also paid for them to be expeditated and they weren't. Since I did not use these forms and was very clear with the representative that I wanted something other than 1 year continuous separation, I think I should received a full refund. I contacted OnlineDivorce.com under the impression that they could handle my divorce from beginning till end for the lowest price around. After spending $159.00 on paperwork, my local Prothonotary advised me that they will not work. In fact, they advised me that the forms are free, and I would still need to pay $30, and an additional $344 for the divorce. I contacted customer service to advise this, and they stated there was nothing that they could do. I inquired about the subscription and requested that it be cancelled, which they advised they would. I was told I would receive a confirmation email advising that my subscription was cancelled, but nothing yet. I have already opened an investigation with my bank.OnlineDivorce.com Response

We understand forms can be obtained from other sources. However, we do not sell divorce forms, and customers are still responsible for paying the court fees.
Our company provides significant services beyond generating your forms. Some valuable services include answers to common questions, filing instructions, and customer care provided on our site. Unfortunately, we cannot ***** a refund in cases where a customer has accessed our post-purchase services, including our post-purchase questionnaires, forms, instructions, and customer care center.

This place is incredibly shady and they are up to no good. After initially filling out all of the questions WITH my soon to be ex, the website instructed us t to call and confirm the information we submitted. On the phone call, *********************, told us that each of us would receive a copy of the papers in the mail to our listed address, and that all we would have to do from here is sign the papers with the county clerks office and receive our court date. After that phone call ended, we were charged $399 in addition to the original fee of $139. This website also kept trying to get us to upgrade to premium and tried to get us to spend more money at every turn. **** did not inform us that their dealing with the mailing and whatever court process they agree to take care of for us (that was never mentioned, he just told us what I said above), would cost an additional $399. We immediately filed for a refund, which we received. **** also told us that my ex would get the papers in his email to review and download so he could print them out. He got the email, it just said go onto the website and download and print them.We got the papers and could not file them due to jobs on the weekdays, but have now found a day where we can go file them and lookie there, they have the WRONG NAME on them.My ex called and asked why the wrong name was on there, and was promptly put on hold for 7 minutes. After the line hung up on him with no customer service, I re-download the papers, and they, magically, have the right name on them! What a shocker. Originally it said this fix would take two more days or a fee of $39. Apparently the software they use messed it up and magically fixed it as soon as we called to complain.Look, I get that these are legal documents and sometimes fees are just a part of the divorce process, but this business is shady as heck. This place is a scam. They offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, minus a handling fee if you request a refund. If you request a refund, they then want to talk to you on the phone. Your refund then becomes only available if you tell them what you didnt like about the subject, and I was just not satisfied is not good enough. Then the agent goes to talk to the refund team, and comes back and offers less than what their refund policy states. Only after threatening legal action will they agree to pay back what their policy states. Total scam.OnlineDivorce.com Response

This business is a scam. They did not state clearly that their document only based on no fault and when I found out and I asked for refund of my payment of $ 749 and $79, they simply they cannot refund the $749 and can only refund the $79 which I have not received yet! This is totally a scam business. DO NOT USE their service. Hope you all burnt in h*** when you die for robbing people's money. I did not get any paperwork whatsoever on the money I paid either. I am very disgruntled with this company and the false advertising that is displayed as $159 for the service. This I am writing as me helping someone that is getting a divorce and allowing them to use my credit card for what I believed was this one time payment in September of 2023 to now realize going through my statements they have been charging my card $39.99 a month since then for a service that my friend has never even used because they couldnt help her. In any case I call this company regarding this and got a representative named (*******) who was very matter of fact in speaking to me that it was "too bad" referring to some terms of agreement (when cost is defined as one time) and that he was just canceling it so I would not get charged any longer with a what are you gonna do about it tone in his voice. No customer service whatsoever or trying to work with me realizing my situation. *** never been married and I feel like ive been ripped off by a company that supposedly helps people with divorces. This is a travesty that this company can charge people for a service that they have never used and continue charging monthly for it not being used. This is a shame for me trying to help a friend and this to happen and their customer service has absolutely no compassion for someone in my position. In addition, their so called terms of service indicates an email will be sent prior to these monthly charges (in their FAQ section) after I was told to read this and no email was ever received by my friend before charges were incurred. Before calling them I tried logging into their site to see what was going on and it wanted her email which was not even usable with them. But somehow when she/we spoke on the phone with the representative he was able to locate it. We apologize for the confusion.
The initial fee gives our customers unlimited account access for one month. Unless canceled, there is a monthly subscription fee. However, seven days before being charged, an email is sent regarding the upcoming charge and directions on canceling the charge if the monthly subscription is no longer wanted or needed.
On the day the subscription fee is charged, another email is sent with the transaction receipt.

Not happy with at all. Attempted to start divorce paperwork. Was not told if I changed my mind or filled out a questionnaire that I would not be refunded more than $20 on top of the $39.99 monthly fee. Still hasnt been fixed. Would like full $120 refund considering Ive not received any paperwork, I chose not to continue filing and asked them to stop even preparing the documents. They still continued to prepare documents after I asked them to stop. I changed my mind less than 2 days after signing up. I understand the membership fee cant be refunded. Didnt know that the questionnaire counted as a post purchase service. Was set up on a payment plan, was only supposed to be 4 payments of $39.95, got charged almost $80 for first charge. After I requested a refund. Would very much like a refund for the documents that I requested multiple times to be stopped in preparation.
