6 random orbital polisher purchased June 3, 2016. Paid approximately $119. Business committed to lifetime guarantee. Product is defective. They have not honored the lifetime guarantee. Called them with questions about returning. They told me to fill out return form on website and return with polisher, and it would be replaced. Polisher was returned to business on July 10, 2022 with return form printed from their website. They called me on July 14, 2022 and said they want me to pay $50 to get a replacement, and they would not repair it. Business phone number is ************.Initial Complaint

They wont let me order products from there website due to a dispute I made and clear up with my bank ever since this the business refused to sell me The items even though I have a lot of there products that I have to buy else where I kindly ask that you step into this and make it possible To rebuy my item I want for my car detailing business thank you so muchInitial Complaint

Approximately two weeks ago, I pulled out my almost new (used only once prior) 3-Inch Buffer and it made a grinding noise and then would no longer power up. Griots offers a LifeTime Warranty to their retail consumer when using in a non-commercial setting. They told me to send it in but started to warn that additional costs may apply. I warned I wanted my original buffer repaired under warranty at no charge. They suggested they had once again replaced the unit and backing plate was no longer offered. (My backing plate was new and perfect). They received the buffer on 02/07/2022 and immediately placed order for new unit and demanded over ***** bucks to replace. The price of my buffer is NO more expensive then their newer offering. So the "lifetime warranty" really doesn't truly protect the consumer as offered and sold. Due to poor design, quality, and workmanship they have to keep changing the unit and then demanding an upcharge.
