Where should I begin? While the courses have been amazing, this school is one big disappointment. It is a rouge school that does not follow policy, an administration that lies habitually, and tons of jealousy and drama. This school needs an overhaul. Some of the people are sick. Unethical in nature. Collective evil at an occultic level. If you experience any problems report them immediately to the Attorney General, **** and the ***********************. Some professors are really good. You can really glean from their experiences. Too many target students, especially civilian students. If you are a civilian, you can make it here. Most of the military folk who attend this school have tons of experience but are not strong academically. You will study hard. However, don't expect fairness and integrity from these people. They are entitled bullies who hide their dirt well and will never meet you face to face. Do not tolerate their bs.

I have attended AMU for the last year and a half and have been bombarded with illogical, half truths, unprofessionalism by the financial id department. They REFUSE to give you the information for the financial aid department. I have called several times. They are not following policy and procedures. They withhold students financial aid money. The withdrawl you from classes if you want to pay for your classes. This school is the worst ever. I have asked several people for Financial Aid director information and they refuse to give it. out. The worst part is that I referred some people to the school. I will also file a complaint with the loan board. There is no way I should continue to go through this while trying to pursue my education and complete good grades.

There is great darkness within this University. It is not a fair place at all. They have been investigated and now they might be taking the student's private information and doing illegal investigations. Some of the instructors are pure evil. They are the sexiest and most deeply racist. Students who have had a long career turn in poor work. It's like they barely got passed high school, They attack anyone who's beating their favorite students who are always white males. Get a Lawyer and file with the DOJ if you have any issues. They have a strong network of protection almost occultic level.

Just do a search on LinkedIn and view all the past and present students who went to the school or are currently going with no issues. I, myself, did additional research before attending this school and verified that it is an accredited institution. I finished my undergraduate degree here after having my previous credits transferred over. In 2022, I received my bachelor degree and I am in the Master's program now. I have had zero issues. (It's recommended that you get a counselor to help you through the process. I did.)

I have attending APU for 2 years now and I earned an Associates degree over the summer. They have been a pleasure to work with. I personally have worked with Financial Aid, Student Disabilities, and Admissions. I do not do well speaking on the phone so all of my correspondence has been through email. The longest they have taken to respond is 3 business days. My husband is earning his Masters here and he prefers phone conversations and he has had zero issues. If you do not like online platforms and you are not a self-motivator then I would not recommend APU. It is designed for people who are independent. All of the information you need to be able to do anything in in ecampus, if you prefer getting help from others instead of looking for solutions by yourself then this may not be the school for you. When I first enrolled, it only took 2 weeks to get all of my financial aid, disability, and admissions paperwork in order and ready to be in class. I highly recommend APU for anyone who enjoys working independently. They are also great about helping you to earn credit for live experience and pervious on the job training. I was able to earn credit for several classes through their PLA program and ACE credits.

While attempting to register for classes I noticed some fine print at the bottom of the page. It states something to the effect of "for California residents only, control how your private info is used" well I don't live there but I decided to read their privacy policy. In appendix A of the policy, it states they can sell your personal identifiers including but not limited to your social, full name, DOB, and addresses(both physical and email) to providers of advertising and analytics services. I was so enraged over this that I immediately withdrew and have been in contact with them to try to get my information cleared from all of their databases. BEWARE this is not a place that has your interests in mind if they are willing to do this.

This should some it up for you... They think incomplete, pubicly editable wiki books are acceptable academic learning material. My capstone, of all classes, used incomplete wiki books as our refresher material. Not to mention all the issues with other classrooms but this one takes the cake. Couldn't even trust the supposed golden guide, the syllabus and classroom didn't line up. Along with broken links, and misguiding directions that point to books that we didn't even have, to the copy-pasted lessons from the books that we're supposed to read anyway and stolen or regurgitated material from every other institution, accept APUS. 90% of the instructors, if you can even call them that, are just there so they can claim it on their resumes. If you get lucky you might have a handful that are helpful, the rest, well, it's best to try not to involve them or the school if you need help. You are on your own. You are just a number here, and being tied to the government gives them the entitlement to treat you as such. Then, after all that hard work and effort, and their cap and gown vendor sends you stuff for a completely different school, they'll COMPLETELY forget about you on your graduation day, even though they give you marching orders and constantly sent you reminders. It was supposed to be one of the biggest days of my life and APUS turned it into nothing more than a huge disappointment... The only thing they are consistent at.
