A complete MONEY GRAB! False advertising/misleading information on website regarding living accommodations and activities/services. Paid $2500 EACH (3 of us) for filthy and leaking living quarters, and just (8) hours of riding. The threat of rain (even though it hadnt rained) on (3) afternoons resulted in our team exploring the local town as our guides chose not to saddle up. Thats excluding the $1,400 for airfare/car rental and another $200 for hotels to get to and from the airport. ******* to stay at local hotel and find trail-riding outfitters.Ownership (***********************) didnt care to hear about any complaints/issues or questions while there and communication between and amongst the family who manage the daily activities was clearly lacking. Check this out - The owners 14 year old granddaughter was in charge of all riding. What owner allows their young granddaughter to do this when so much money (and peoples happiness/satisfaction) is at stake? Just unprofessional as she surely cant understand the value of such money. ******* sure did though. Had no problems running our credit cards on day 1 when many other ranches allow for pre and post payment following the full experience. Of course, he was in the process of building another cabin so Im sure our funds came at a good time.A 2.5 page letter providing feedback and recommendations for improvement was given to the owners one week after the trip had concluded. A lot of time and effort went into trying to make it a better experience for future visitors but the owners response (***********************) was flippant and demonstrated that he didnt care about our experience or the feedback. $4,100 x 3 - total waste. Buyer beware! On a side note - food was very good. Part time hired ranch help (who also lived in tiny crappy quarters) were pleasant and friendly and **** (******** son) wanted to be more accommodating but the boss didnt allow for it. Beautiful landscape and aesthetics and great horses.

I'm sorry that we did not meet their expectations. His comment above about $4,100 X 3 is not all us. Our rate per week is $2,350.00 plus taxes, which amount to approximately $100.00. Apparently the 4 thousand dollars spent included their travel, were they unhappy with their other accommodations along the way? When they left here, they wrote a nice comment in our guest book with no complaints about their dissatisfaction. We did have a lot of rain during the week of their stay and the riding time was limmited by the threat of lightinig. For safety sake we do not ride out when there is storm activity. They did ride almost every day, but not all day. As for our granddaughter, she is not totally in charge as we have older college students who ride and look after our guests. The cabin that they stayed in is over 80 years old. It has 3 bedrooms, living room, and a private bathroom. It is clean. We have guests stay in it every week with no complaints. We are a "working cattle ranch" and not a resort. You can find nicer accommodation, at the "upscale" ranches that cater to folks who want that type accommodations. Ours are clean and comfortable, we have great horses and a cook who provides excellent meals 3 times a day.My regards to all, and again, I'm sorry we turned out to not be what they were looking for.*********************** Klondike Ranch
