            Our furnace stopped working. We called pro gas north shore to help figure out the issue. Worker came Feb 22 parked in our driveway for 15 minutes then made his way in. Went downstairs and started to yell that pipes were non compliant so couldn’t even look at the furnace. Ran out of the house and sat in his van another 15 minutes then came back in told us that he called fortis and his boss and that until he changed the pipes nothing could be done about the actual furnace. I asked how much are pipes? He said $900 I said well if the furnace is not working shouldn’t we decide if we need a new furnace before installing new pipes to a broken furnace? The call was to assess the furnace, he didn’t answer so we asked him to leave. We just got a bill for $207.90. All we wanted was a recommendation on what to do about our furnace. Terrible experience and extortion for doing nothing.
