I have been a student at VCAD for almost 8 months now. I signed up on September 25, 2023… April 25, 2024 will be my official 8 months in to the program!! I can say they really upped their standards, and expectations w/ their teachers & student services, financial officers, tutoring support services. In some instances, where some of the teachers don’t talk to you one on one, on ***** meetings, you can ****** on them to the 3D modelling animation and art design manager and have the teachers talk to you if they’re too busy to chat or at least give you a thumbs up saying they agree with something. Take screen shots and send them off to the manager of your course you’re taking. I’m in their 3D Modelling and animation design 2 year diploma course. I’ve been doing 3 classes per term ever since my first 5 classes for the first term was hectic and my brain couldn’t handle the amount of information. I had to go to my other doctor for the doctor’s note for them to put on file to take 3 classes per term. And so far, it has been working like a charm, I am paying them $43,702 for two year program with student loans and grants. I am excited to finish the program and get a really great high paying job!! Also, when applying for these apply for a 3 or 4 classes per term if you have ADHD, or any other mental health issues, get your doctors note, pay for it, then submit it with your application early on. You’ll have less homework to worry about. Teachers have been super supportive of me, except for 1 teacher who just doesn’t chat with you and just reads your messages and doesn’t reply back. My other teachers have gotten better at communications. Since the main complaint on these reviews were about communications to students. You just have to ****** on them to get them talking. I know ********* is a bad word to use, but that’s how it goes. You need to advocate yourself. You’re grown ups. Act like it!! Call or email is the best way to get a hold of your manager’s course.
