            On June 23, 2023, Aritzia came to the attention of BBB. At that time a consumer reported on our BBB Scam Tracker.  The consumer alleged that she paid for an order on a website called  Bestwaersmall at https://bestwaersmall.store/ but did not receive the product.  The website looked very similar to the official Aritzia website and sold some of the same products but at a much lower sale discount.   BBB asked about their possible affiliations with that company. BBB left a voicemail on July 6, 2023 and sent 2 letters dated June 23 and July 6, 2023 for Aritzia but as of July 26, 2023 has not heard back from the business.

            Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot confirm the legitimacy of Bestwaersmall.   Please be cautious in ordering products from Bestwaersmall.  Aritzia's name may be used by scammers.

              I bought pants at the store on 9/30/24. I brought them home and tried them on a week later and they did not fit. I had removed the tags but still had my original receipt and credit card that I paid with. I took them back 10/8/24 and the manager would not allow me to exchange them because they had no tag. I kept explaining to her what I did have and that they were unworn, and not washed. She refused to exchange them for a bigger size. She directed me to the stores concierge line so I called there in the store. The first ********* **** said she was sorry for the stores attitude and that I was ok to return my pants. She sent an email to me and the store saying this. The manager was also on her line with another concierge ***** who told her she was able to reject the emails instructions because at the bottom of the email it says so. This is very misleading information. The store continues to refuse to exchange the pants and when I call concierge again they say its ok for me to return the pants. This leaves the customer no where. I also would like to point out that these pants are purposefully worn by the manufacturer. It says so on the receipt lived-in black.

              Aritzia's customer service was extremely disappointing. I ordered trousers online and received them with the security device still attached. After calling customer service, I was informed that I would need to return the trousers to a store 1 hour away. When I asked if a replacement could be sent, I was told that was not possible. I would either have to return the trousers in person or send them back and wait for a replacement that could take a month. Given this experience, I will not be shopping at Aritzia again.
