I bought my 2020 Ford Escape in July 2023 and have it in the shop 6 times since I drove it off the lot.
I asked Ina Motors to check to see if my transmission needed to be fixed. They told me it did but they wouldn’t be able to fix it so they directed me to go to the Ford Dealership directly or to a transmission shop because they couldn’t do transmissions. I called Ford and they gave me an appt 6 weeks late. I go to my appointment and they tell me that the company that Ina motors uses for their warranty is not reliable so they won’t bill it. They advised me that sometimes they sublet the work out to the dealership and to call them to see if they would do that. When I spoke with them, they told me that they do do transmission work, and that they would like the business and to book in with them. So I took my car out there.
They told me it was $300 to flush the fluid and replace it with new stuff. I agreed to that price and left it with them overnight. When I went to pick it up they disclosed they had to do it twice and that it was now going to be $710. This was done without my knowledge and I was forced to pay it or they would keep my car. As mentioned before, there have been several issues prior to this that have resulted in my car being returned in worse shape than it was when I dropped it off. My driver seat is not tight enough and squeaks when I sit in it, and there is a leak in the passenger side floor after they replaced a part of the computer which needed to be done because they didn’t tighten the valves in my rear tires enough resulting in them losing air, crushing the AWD sensors and then needing several visits to remedy it. I would highly recommend you do NOT do business with Ina Motors. They are very crooked and refuse to make it right.
