I recently had a disconcerting experience with Phoenix Roofing Windows and Remodeling, a roofing company that approached me unsolicited, which I feel compelled to share. Initial Approach: The representatives of Phoenix Roofing Windows and Remodeling showed up at my door, claiming they noticed roof damage on my property. While I was hesitant, I allowed them to be present during my insurance adjuster's visit. Questionable ***************Adjustment: After the adjuster confirmed the need for a roof replacement, the companys representatives aggressively pur***d me to directly hand over the insurance check. **********, they did this without providing any estimate or detailed plan for the work. Unethical Behavior: Upon deciding to go with another contractor due to their lack of transparency, Phoenix Roofing Windows and Remodeling not only expressed their discontent but also threatened to *** me for a quarter of the roofing jobs cost. This was shocking, especially as they had never provided any services or formal estimates. Final Thoughts: The entire experience was unsettling. Their initial unsolicited approach, followed by aggressive financial demands and an unwarranted legal threat, was unprofessional and unethical. I caution anyone considering their services to be wary of such practices. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision and avoid similar distressing

We are very sorry to hear about this experience; however, **************** unfortunately has not laid out all of the facts. Allow me to clarify, Initial approach: Door to Door Sales, **************** did NOT have a "NO SOLICITING" sign anywhere on his property. Without that sign posted, we will gladly continue the great success of our Door-to-Door sales, helping to assist hundreds of Homeowners with the confusing process of dealing with an ***************** and their Claim. According to our Signed Agreement, before any payments are made, we meet with the Insurance Adjuster to level the playing field so there are 2 like-minded individuals *********************** that can speak on the same terms without cutting the Homeowners short on what the ***************** owes them based on their policy, we did this for ****************. As our Agreement clearly states, all work is done per Insurance Proceeds which includes Labor, Materials, Supplements, ************************** Deductible. Based on our Agreement, the Homeowner then agrees to let Phoenix Roofing ************************************ do the work as long as we get the ***************** to Replace the entire Roof system; if they deem it a repair, then the Homeowner can move on and do as they choose. In this case, we got the ***************** to agree to replace the entire system, this is awesome news to have a full roof replacement for ANY Homeowner! As our Agreement states, at this point, the Homeowner allows us to do the work since we satisfied the Agreement to meet their Adjuster & get their entire Roof system fully approved, no repair. Keep in mind the time, effort & reporting on the backend that needs to be done before these adjustments occur and we did all of this with NO deposit down; this is FREE work to prove to our Homeowners that there is nothing UNETHICAL going on here. Since the work is done per Insurance Proceeds, as stated in our Agreement, the total amount that the ***************** approves is again the amount we do the work for. Once this is confirmed, as per our agreement, now that it has been approved for full replacement, it is time to get the ball rolling on the project; this requires the 1st check that the ***************** cuts to the Homeowner. This covers our initial labor and a portion of the materials needed to complete the project. Once the project is complete, we send a Final Invoice to the *****************, they then release the remaining Depreciation on the Claim and we collect those funds along with the required Deductible from the Homeowner. The Estimate that **************** was looking for was simply the paperwork that he already had from the ***************** since, per our Agreement, we do the work for whatever the ***************** says they will do the work for or simply put, Insurance Proceeds. We are lost how ANY Homeowner would feel unsettled about having a Contractor do FREE work to get their entire Roof system approved in Full after a SIGNED CONTRACT was obtained to agree to let us do everything that is stated above. Any Company that has a person sign a legal document and then that person breaches that legal document, the Company then has every right to threaten legal action against that person; **************** forgot that major detail. Unfortunately, in these cases, Homeowners think that after we sign a Contract and do a bunch of free work to get their Claims approved in full that it is now optional to use us, this is NOT how our Agreement reads and why legal action is more than justified. Unfortunately, in these cases, some Homeowners then think that it's now time to go get cheaper Estimates to try to put money in their pockets; this is called Insurance Fraud. The only unsettling action going on here is that we have a Homeowner that signed a Contract, backed out of it, is upset we were threatening legal action and is trying to commit Insurance Fraud. There was absolutely nothing unethical or unprofessional within this process and we will be happy to supply the BBB with the Signed Contract that **************** signed proving the above statements. I hope this helps other Homeowners out there know that there is NOTHING distressing or unethical about this process unless you want to try to breach a Contract and commit Insurance Fraud.
