Overview
Ideas Onpoint is first and foremost, a community activator; we focus on empowering businesses to reach their full potential by securing a strong foundation based on their own ideas and then building upon it for a unique “tailored” feel. We provide tools, workshops, and project management for economic development in Southern Arizona. Our goal is to impact the communities we serve by encouraging entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations to take ownership and create opportunities for prosperity.
The leadership team has strong ties to the community of Santa Cruz County. Both Hector M Treto and Paul Mendoza were born and raised on the Nogales border. Our drive lies in strengthening and impacting the community that gave us so much growing up. We are honored with the opportunity to return to Nogales to be a part of something that can greatly impact its future.
Before founding Ideas Onpoint, the leadership team compiled over 20 years of management and sales experience focused particularly on customer service and talent development. Our personalized approach to recruiting, onboarding and training, and consistent coaching resulted in a low turnover in otherwise high turnover industries. In sales, our founders were recognized by their respective companies as top producers and pacesetters amongst their peers. Most importantly, however, our positive spin on usual, everyday challenges and roadblocks led to a shared passion for developing people to discover their value as individuals and then vital constituents of their communities, capable of affecting change. Our love for life and all things positive constantly leads us into new ventures that we are honored to be both associated with and students of. We look forward to the opportunity to share with you our knowledge, experience, and passion. It's about turning ideas into action, it's about being on point!
Based in Arizona, Ideas Onpoint has worked with a variety of local and national organizations including TV Azteca America Tucson, YWCA Women's Business Center, Uplift Michigan Online Academy, Nogales Community Development, Consulate of Mexico in Tucson, Sunnyside Foundation, Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Santa Cruz County Superintendent’s Office, City of Tucson, Lead Local, Main Street America and, among others.
