Cal Auctions entered into a contract on or about May 1, 2024 to sell items that did not belong to the person who entered into the contract with Cal Auctions. The contents of this property belong to me, ******* *****. Prior to the launch of the auction, I attempted multiple times to reach out to ***** ***** at Cal Auctions to remedy the situation and ensure the auction did not proceed forward. I expressed at that time the contents they were attempting to liquidate through their online auction, belonged to me and if they were to proceed, they would be committing a crime. The auction went forward and ended on May 14, 2024. A complaint was filed and report taken by the *************************** prior to the close of the May 14th auction. Cal Auctions created a second online auction which ended today, June 6, 2024 liquidating more of my personal property. The investigation with the *************************** will take time and there is not an immediate resolution. There is a current case is in the San Diego Court of Appeal which also involves both physical and personal property. Cal Auctions is FULLY aware that all of the contents they are attempting to and have liquidated thus far, are MY personal property. I had hired Cal Auctions in 2017 to conduct an appraisal for the value of all contents for tax purposes. I expect a response to my complaint as Cal Auctions has neglected to answer my phone calls or requests for conversation.
