    I bought a used 2012 Subaru Forester in November, 2023. Soon after purchasing it, the cruise control stopped working. It was fixed quickly and all was well. The Subaru was stored for 4 months, covered, and not driven. When we returned from traveling the cruise control wasn't working. I took it in to Flower ************* to check it out, and was a given an estimate of 8 things that needed to be done to the tune of $4430.00. Almost half of what I paid for in 6 months ago will less that 2000 miles since buying it.I decided to take it to my local mechanic as they said my one year warranty wouldn't cover any of the items that needed to be done. My mechanic check all the items listed, reset the catalytic coverter and charged me $270 which also included installed a bike carrier.Another couple was there and they kept receiving texts on their phone from the service department that they need more items taken care of to the tune of $500, $300, $450 etc. They tried to talk to the service person, but were rerouted to another office. I am hoping they got suspicious and didn't comply.I was very disappointed and felt a bit scammed. I would not recommend this business.

    ****************. We are truly sorry if you are unhappy with your experience with our company. Looking at our records it appears that you did purchase a 2012 Subaru Forester that had ******* miles on it at time of purchase. Going over what our shop had done with the vehicle before it was put on the lot for sale was completely safe under Colorado Law. At the time of these services the catalytic converter was not having issues. It is unfortunate that vehicles do not run forever and never have any issues. They are built on earth and not in heaven. Having said this we understand that it is a used vehicle and we would like to extend to you having your catalytic converter done at our cost. That means there will still be a cost incurred to you but at a much more discounted rate. I cannot take every used vehicle and make it into a new one, It would not be feasible or affordable to the consumer. Also keep in mind that if the vehicle would have needed the work at the time we acquired it until the time you had purchased it the price would have been more for the vehicle. It is unfortunate, it happens and we are truly sorry but are willing to make a concession on the labor cost to help you out.
