DSI-Murray Insurance, **********, ** I have a situation that I needed addressed. Last week, I was notified by my bank that my homeowners policy with you through ******************************* had been cancelled as of February 2023. On February 22nd, I call the office and gave my routing and account number to the staff to make the payment for both of my homeowners policies. It has come to my attention that the numbers for one of the policies was typed in wrong. Payment was deducted for one home, but apparently a few days later the payment for the other home rejected (not due to funds), but because of the numbers were typed wrong.I understand that UP&C notified me, and I more than likely did not follow through because I personally called your office to make the payment. How could the office not know that my policy was cancelled? No one called; so this is being brought up because of the letter I received from the bank last week informing me that I need insurance before forced insurance is placed on my account. In speaking with a staff member, she is saying that in order for her to write a new policy, I would need to pay for a Wind Mitigation and updated electrical work. This is totally out of line. I feel that your company should not take payments over the phone if I cannot depend on the payment to be made. I do not feel that I am being treated fairly after many years of being with Alllstate. The last now is that I need a Wind Mitigation and 4 point inspection. If I go to another company, I have to pay for not having coverage. I rate this company as a F because, even the owner has not reached out to me to assist with the matter. F, F, F At this point, I would not recommend this company. They cannot even take payments over the phone correctly. Along with that, they are saying that "they are not notified when a policy is cancelled". Ridiculious!!!
