    Called from Biloxi looking for a specific 4 wheeler that I couldn’t find in my area. Female salesperson personable, spoke to manager who said he would take $600 off MSRP. Went to credit union the next morning, secured financing and even added machine to my insurance. While at the Bank the Manager sends over a buyers order that did not reflect the deal discussed. This dealer tried to scoop my $300 rebate, had a $233 additional cost that when questioned “what is it” was told by Mgr Mark Thompson that’s the price like it or leave it. This was said in front of my banker which said she wasn’t comfortable with these people and I withdrew from the deal. I ended up buying the exact machine for $1100 less from a Mississippi dealer. Huge waste of time with this dealer. Deceptive business practices.

    Generally speaking, when a customer requests an "out-the-door" price, we provide them the price they would pay to purchase the item in full (down to the very penny expected). This total amount covers the selling price, fees, taxes, title, etc... and is a final number encompassing any and all charges/discounts. When we provide a price to a customer, we honor that price. Looking back through your exchanges with our dealership, I do not see where we did not honor our pricing. Here is the data that I found. The out-the-door pricing sent to you on 9/13/24 at 4:54pm shows a total price of $10,494.15. That means if you showed up to buy that item, you would expect to pay $10,494.15; nothing more, nothing less. After receiving that document, you informed us that instead of paying cash, you were going to your bank to get financing. You requested an updated buyer's order showing a down-payment as you would only be financing $8,167.50 with your bank (this number came from you/the bank and was not determined by our dealership). As requested, we sent the revised order to you and your bank on 9/14 at 8:39 and again at 11:48. The revised buyer's order reflected the following: $8167.50 to be financed, $2326.65 due from you, and $300 Bonus Bucks due from Honda (as a Manufacturer to customer discount). We were not trying to "scoop your rebate" as it was reflected in that line of the buyer's order. Combining the $8167.50 and $2326.65 together, it still equals the $10,494.15 due from you as quoted originally. That didn’t change on our end.. Also, I'm unclear as to what you mean by “$233 additional cost" as all items have a description next to them. Maybe you are referring to the subtotal line on the buyer’s order that shows the total combination of sales tax and documentation fees? If so, that is a subtotal line, not additional charges. I do sincerely apologize for any miscommunication from the salesperson or sales manager. We obviously should have done more to help you better understand that the price quoted ($10,494.15) was what it would cost to purchase the ATV you wanted. We will work harder in the future to ensure that our staff better explains the numbers when giving a customer a total price, as I never want anyone to perceive us as using deceptive business practices.

    Thieves and liars. You can write and excuse as long as a dictionary, you played a game with the numbers and got caught. Rebate must be shown, you never did. Then you rudely told me and the loan officer the numbers were the numbers. Even the credit union repetitively asked “Where is the rebate, what is the $233. You never answered. And you never had a title either. You got caught, you lost a sale, and now have yet another bad review. What’s most amazing, you were a snotty nosed kid when i got in automotive retail if you were even born then and i assure you I’ve seen this shady technique more than you’ve used it. And even the Lender said you were shady.
