I had 3 physical sessions at this facility. The therapist was excellent. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the front office or billing department. My first session on 4/15/2022 was billed correctly to Medicare for evaluation of physical therapy. My next two sessions (4/18/2022, 4/20/22) were billed incorrectly. Both show Medicare was only billed for application of cold compresses to the back. It also shows that Medicare was billed twice for this procedure, once by the p/t/ and once by the medical director. Although full therapy service was done on these dates Medicare was not billed for those services. I called Medicare to verify this and was told they were only billed for the cold compresses. I called Vitality to informed them of this so they could correctly bill Medicare. The front desk couldn't have been more uncooperative. They told me they showed that they billed medicare. for all services and I would need to bring in the bills showing the claims were denied. I tried to explain Medicare doesn't send bills. I was transferred to an extension that never answered. I called back and told whoever answered that they need to inform their billing department to resubmit the bill to Medicare. My concern is Vitaliy will try to bill me for services that should be billed to Medicare. I tried to be proactive to avoid this from happening. Although I continue to need therapy I won't be going back to Vitality.
