I rented several items from A&C Party Rentals which included charger plates, satin tablecloths, and more items just to name a few. I was having a very important event with politicians (Mayors, Commissioners, etc.) and advised the company prior to renting items I needed everything to be up to par. Let me start by first saying I went to the location prior to renting and it was confirmed I would receive satin tablecloths but instead on the day of delivery I received polyester. I called the the company and was advised someone would bring me the satin tablecloths which at this point it was 2 hours prior to the event in which I had 200 guest invited to attend. They said it would take an hour to get there. The driver made it an hour prior to the event once again with the wrong tablecloths which was a fake satin and not the satin tablecloths ordered, at this point I had to use what they brought. The next item was the gold charger plates I ordered and about 50-60% of the charger plates were chipped with black marks on the inside and around the outsides of the plates as if someone was throwing them around outside for a catch game . Due to these huge disappointments and failure to provide the correct and quality of items my Gala turned out to be a total disaster for my guest. I spoke with the wife I believe of the owner of the establishment and wow her customer service was horrible. She was more upset than me as if I ruined an event of hers like she had done mine. It was so bad with her and me going back and forth on the phone that her husband who had delivered the second set of tablecloths advised me that we can discuss the issue later, which of course never happened. They did not aplogize nor did they offer me any form of compensation for their errors. Wish I had read some of the reviews prior to renting from this company, I would have not rented from them. This was a horrific experience and I will never rent from them again and advise everyone to stay away.
