I live in River Pointe Townhomes, townhome 2007. I have been without air conditioning since June of 2023, it is in my lease that I have central air in my unit. Maintenance for River Pointe has came out once since the start of the requests Ive put in and did not fix the issue. Ive submitted multiple requests to get it fixed and my requests have either been cancelled or ignored. I have also been told by maintenance that lots of units are without the central air in their units. I went to talk to an office worker for River Pointe he also informed me he works there and lives in a unit there and hes been without central air for the last two months. I have been dealing with this issue since June of 2023 to present date. The office today still did not give me a date of when someone would be coming out to fix the central air. It has been ***** degrees in my unit. I have a 4 year old son and Im currently pregnant, I cant even stand to be in my own apartment. Ive had to go stay with family members, take money out of my own pocket to buy additional fans and window ac units to keep it cool in my apartment when central air is provided in my lease and Im getting nowhere and quite honestly feeling helpless. *** lived there for 3 years. This current year I am paying $910 a month to not even get everything Im *********** consistently and on time paying my rent. I see maintenance fixing newer leased apartments and one of them I know and they said River Pointe has made the newer leased apartments their top priority instead of the tenants that have lived there for years now. Were getting no help, no results, the run around, and ignored. Were hot, uncomfortable, and miserable. PLEASE HELP. This is not safe, or healthy.
