I been in my villa home since 2020 and have had issues with my home concrete the inside floors and driveway all concrete cracking severely! i had my complete dining room floor that was tiled crack 10 feet long crack by half inch wide ! I was told that they would be replacing only cracked tiles ? I completely tore out all the ceramic tiles in the floor and had the crack in floor completely repaired by myself then the floor replaced with a gluedown wood type flooring over the fixed concrete floo then my utility room did same thing the concrete floor cracked the same way and the ceramic tiles all cracked in a zigzag way same thing McFarland only wanted to do a patch job only replace tiles that were cracked ! indeed the floor tiles all needed to be removed and concrete floor crack fixed properly and tiling retiled to keep flooring n concrete from cracking further! i told Project manager who came out from McFARLand Homes to do things right that paching the tiles was a temp fix but he never fixed that and still tiles cracked and concrete floor underneath still cracked n cracking more!My concrete driveway has cracked the sameway cracking across completely in the center of my Driveway ! McFarland project manger came out in fall time looked at the cracked driveway and stated yes this driveway needs replaced atleast half ! stated he would be back in springtime to asscess the condition and fix ! He came back looked at it when i was not home and left and never came back contacted me or anything ? i have ring cameras on my front home ! my home concrete is either related to poor materials or workmanship or both and or time of year concrete was poured and no vapor barrier underneath concrete cause every crack in concrete there always signs of moisture within the cracks ! ALL i want is what i paid for is a Quality home ! MCFARLAND HOMES not giving me that I JUST WANT MY CONCRETE DRIVEWAY REPLACED ! i should not be cracking and falling apart this soon!!!

McFarland Homes was not given the opportunity to make the flooring repairs for the homeowner. McFarland Homes met with homeowner and indicated how the flooring repair would be made (to replace all the cracked tiles) as outlined in the contract signed by homeowner. Several attempts were made by the flooring contractor and McFarland Homes to set up the tile repair appointment, but there was no cooperation from the homeowner. Minor cracks in concrete floor slabs are normal; although we were not given the opportunity to see what was under the tile.Concrete is not warrantied against cracking, as outlined in the contract between the homeowner and McFarland Homes.

First off the project manager was here he looked at the dining room floor the tiles were all removed on that floor you could see there was a zig zag crack **** feet long and 1/2 inch wide if McFarland things this is normal concrete cracking not true! Cause I have had 2 previous homes built from ground up and lived in those both for many years and never experienced any cracking in my interior floors ! My thoughts are bad pour / concrete mix poor labor time of year? No vapor barrier beneath or mesh or rebar just plain fast bs workmanship! Second a new home with concrete floors cracking mainly in cold months freeze thaw is when this always happens! Now I have a second floor in my utilities room doing the same thing concrete tiles cracking about 3-4 feet zig zag and concrete floor underneath cracking same way you can see concrete floor cracking starts in furnaces room althe way thru tied floor on other side! In conversation about 4 times with McFarland tile contractor I talked to them personally and asked them what they were going to do ? They stated remove only the broken tiles and replace fix.I stated to them I needed the whole utility room floor to be taken out and concrete floor cracked fixed properly before just patching it cause if crack not fixed will crack again! They told me they would contact McFarland let him know my situation! The project manager was here for first repair in dining room and saw the huge floor crack and asked what I wanted done I stated to him fix it right no patch work ! I should not have to have patch work fast temp fixing on a brand new home! Also for the record I know about their concrete crack notice but the privet manager was here looked at the serve driveway crack and still cracking and stated he was going to have to come back in the spring to scedual the repair 1/2 of driveway to remove n replace? I never heard from him since? All I wanted is what I paid for is quality work and fix it right ! I never met McFarland ever not once even at closing time! But he got his money all I want is things done right fixed 100 % rite! McFarland all he has to do is tell his subcontractors to fix their faulty work ! But instead he hides and sends his project manager over to tell bs ! I really aint in the mood to entertain bs cause I have had two homes built from new never experienced anything like this before ! McFarland could easily tell his tile contractor to tear out all the tiles in my utility room fix the cracked concrete floor 100 % and retile the room End of Story! Same with the faulty concrete driveway ! All I want is McFarland to get his concrete contractor to come fix the driveway tear out the bad poured / finished driveway and find out what wrong and redo ! Cause where the long cracking is across my driveway is still continuing to crack more and where it is cracking / cracked there is a dark gray stain showing moisture water underneath the driveway! All Im asking is McFarland fix all the things 100% properly dont just say we gonna temp fix patch the items ! And for the record I let the project manager in my home on this and I would appreciate he cal me and schedule appointment professionally dont just show up ! I am a very busy person as well ! Its real simple McFarland needs to hold his sub contractors reliable for their work and materials! I dont know why he would not want too? So Im asking fix the utilities room floor 100% and fix my driveway 100% and we can be done with all this bs! Thank you
