Dear Ms. *****,
On March 4, 2022, QC Financial Services, Inc. (hereinafter “QC”) received a letter from the Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City regarding a complaint filed by Mr. *** *****. The complaint relates to a debt collection item on Ms. *****’ credit report. Mr. ***** states ********** ******* ********, LLC reported the item to the credit reporting agency, which also notes 15 QC Holdings, LLC as the original creditor. Mr. ***** states he never had a loan with 15 QC Holdings and, when he asked for a debt validation, ********** ******* ******** refused to provide it. QC has reviewed the matter, including through a discussion with ********** ******* ********. The following details our findings:
After review, we determined Mr. ***** in fact had a loan with QC Financial Services, Inc. d/b/a LendNation. After Mr. ***** defaulted on the loan, QC sold the account to ********** ******* ********, LLC. ********** ******* ******** now owns the account.
Regarding Mr. *****’ claim ********** ******* ******** refused to send proof of the loan, QC has confirmed Mr. ***** did not request a debt validation. In fact, on the call, Mr. ***** simply stated he did not remember the loan and then he hung up. Nevertheless, QC now treats this complaint as a request for debt validation. QC has provided the documents to ********** ******* ******** and they will complete the debt validation.
Finally, concerning the “15 QC Holdings LLC” notation in the credit report, the name is improperly noted. In fact, the name should be “QC Financial Services, Inc. d/b/a LendNation” or “QC Holdings, Inc.” Nationwide is working with the credit reporting agency to resolve this.
We believe this letter responds to all issues raised by Mr. ***** in his complaint. If there are additional open items, please contact us. Contact information can be found in the header above. We would be happy to discuss any part of this with you further.
Sincerely,
****** ********

QC holdings calling me relentlessly about a fictional debt they claim I owe. I want the harassment to stop. I filed a bankruptcy in 2014 and have not used a payday loan service for at least 5 years prior. I have told them numerous times to stop calling me, yet I am ignored. All I want it for them to stop and remove whatever data they have on me. This is ridiculousBusiness response

Re: Complaint ID: ********
Dear Ms. *****,
On February 3, 2022, QC Financial Services, Inc. (hereinafter “QC”) received a letter from the Better Business Bureau of Greater Kansas City regarding a complaint filed by Mr. *** **********. The complaint relates to debt collector calls to Mr. ********** seeking repayment for a loan debt. Mr. ********** states he filed bankruptcy in 2014 and has not had any short term, small dollar loans for at least five years prior to that. QC has reviewed the matter, including its records and call logs. The following details our findings:
After review, we determined QC did not make the phone calls in question and is not seeking payment from Mr. **********. In fact, QC could not find record of Mr. **********, any loan records associated with Mr. **********, or the address, email, or phone number he provided in its database. Therefore, QC does not believe this matter relates to it and likely was perpetrated by scammers pretending to be QC. Because scams and fraud attempts are so prevalent today, QC encourages Mr. ********** to demand debt validations from suspicious debt collectors before making any payments on questionable or unknown debts. QC also encourages Mr. ********** to continue to insist he be added to the caller’s do not call list.
We believe this letter responds to all issues raised by Mr. ********** in his complaint. If there are additional open items, please contact me. Contact information can be found in the header above. I would be happy to discuss with you any part of this further.
Sincerely,
****** ********
