    When I made reservations to board my dog here, this kennel was still BRADY KENNELS. I have boarded my dog here twice before and made reservations through their website. BRADY KENNELS contacted me back through email stating my dog was all set after they received his vaccination records. The day before we were to pick up our dog, I had checked their website to make sure what time our dog had to be picked up. When my husband went to pick up our dog, he noticed all of the signage at the kennel had been changed to COUNTRY ACRES and the price was NOT what we were expecting as Brady Kennels had it posted on their site $35/night. We were charged $40/night for the 11 nights we were away.They NEVER disclosed ANY of these changes to us via email, phone, or in person at the time we made our reservations or at the time we dropped our dog off!! We didn't know of these changes until we picked up our dog!! The lady in the office told my husband that the price change was posted on Brady Kennels website, however it WAS NOT. The only price change shown was the $30 to $35 increase. I called them after my husband returned home with our dog and the receipt and asked her to show me where it says on the website the increase of $40 and the change in ownership. She then tells me that it WAS NOT on their website!!! So she flat out lied to my husband!She said clients were supposed to be directed to the new website through the Brady Kennels website.That, however, WAS NOT the case. We were NEVER directed to another website!! For all we knew, we were booking AT BRADY KENNELS at $35/night!! I asked for a refund for the overcharged amount. It has been almost a week after the lady in the office assured us we would be receiving a refund after the initial charge clears and we havent received a dime.

    Thank you for notifying us of your concerns. Country Acres Doggy Daycare and Boarding strives to provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for pets. **************** is very important to us. Early this year Brady Kennels began branding the kennel as Brady Kennels Country Acres Doggy Daycare and Boarding in preparation of transitioning to new ownership in March. Early April, before your pets stay, Brady Kennels signs were replaced with Country Acres signage on the main road and on the property. Staff also began communicating various changes to clients as they called for reservations. In investigating your reservation, it appears you made a reservation through the Brady Kennel website which unfortunately was not redirecting to the Country Acres website as we thought it was. The website was redirected last week and you were provided a refund for the price difference plus a 10% discount prior to us receiving this review.

    Yes, after a few hiccups, we did receive the refund plus 10%. I apologize for making this complaint and if it is public, I will gladly remove it. But just to make myself clear, we were never notified via email, phone call, or in person when we made our reservation and when we dropped our dog off. In fact, when my husband picked up our dog, he was told by the receptionist that clients who made reservations before April 8th would be charged the Bradys rate of 35/day. We made our reservations on April 5th and she still proceeded to charge him $40/day. She could have easily pulled up our reservation on her computer and all of this could have been avoided. That is what Im most upset about. Even though we made our reservation BEFORE the price change, we were still charged the new rate and then It seemed like I had to jump through several hoops to get a refund.
