To summarize my story with this company:1) Clear lack of communication 2) Massive price hiking 3) Dishonesty I received a formal estimate to work on my driveway in May 2022. I accepted the estimate shortly after receiving - excited that they committed to starting work on June 15, 2022. After multiple attempts of follow-up phone calls to confirm the work being done at my home, I finally received a text message the morning of June 15th stating they could not start the project that day due to 3 of their employees having COVID. Which is understandable, if true, however waiting until the last minute to inform me was not acceptable. Again after multi follow-up attempts, the next time I was able to get any contact with this company multiple weeks later. In which I was told work would begin in the next two to three weeks. I was told that they had problems on an existing jobsite that was causing the delay and wanted to discuss the pricing for my project. After another 3 weeks of no communication from them, I summarized and broke down why I expected the cost for the work to match what they had explicitly sent to me via a proposal and email. The response to that email proceeded to explain that the price for my project had DOUBLED. They chalked up the price increase to a typo in an email as well as an employee bidding jobs wrong. I could understand a small mistake in pricing. I could understand a delay in communication due to how busy everyone is right now. But I can not understand the extreme to which they have faulted on these. This is my first time reviewing any company or product. Simply because I would not wish my experience on anyone else. There is a legitimate chance that this company is a scam, attempting to receive half down payments and vanishing. I do not believe that is the case - but at this point it would not surprise me.
