    Dear Sir or Madam:

    A vacation or tour of a distant land should �ll you with happy memories, however, this is not
    always the case, as it is with me.

    It has taken me two years (of therapy) to write this letter. I'll cut to the chase, then provide the
    description of the circumstances, as I was bullied by our tour guide on a vacation to Europe through Image Tours.

    The guide's name is Mary. She yelled at me twice, both times in front of our whole group, which
    was about 50-60 people.

    The �rst time she went off on me was when my brother and l were late back to the bus because
    we'd gotten lost on the way back. 0n top of that, one of the women in our group started yelling at me too.

    I have a major depressive disorder. These attacks triggered my depression quite badly.

    The second time Mary yelled at me was when I left the tip money for our driver at home. She
    didn't just yell at me, she humiliated me. When it got back to her that I would complain, she
    confronted me about that too.

    I wrote a letter to Image Tours and was told they were sorry if I didn't agree with Mary's "stern
    ways". I had wanted a refund, or a partial refund, but was further humiliated.

    I don't know how you can help me, but I had to get this out, somehow get closure and report
    Image Tours.

    Also, Mary got a tip from me- out of fear. She could have easily messed up my �ight home.

    Dear ***************: I respond in the hopes of providing you some form of peace in reiterating the positive intentions of your tour manager who did her utmost to assist you in finishing a tour of 16 days with a group of 40 other passengers. As I followed your tour from the Image Tours U.S. office and even called you myself a few times during the last few days of your tour to check on how you were feeling, I am aware that there were personal obstacles, beyond anyone else's control, that hindered your full enjoyment, comfort and participation during the tour. I am also aware that the tour manager made tireless efforts to provide you guidance and support, with the intention of assisting you in completing the tour as enjoyably and safely as possible, while also trying to maintain a positive experience for the rest of the tour passengers. We apologize if you remember your tour manager's guidance in a negative way, but hope you can at some point see beyond this perception to appreciate the efforts, energy, concern, personal attention and care directed toward your safe completion of the tour.
