            It's definitely buyer beware here. I bought a 2014 Buick Verano for my son's 19th birthday ...beautiful car..... ***'s people told me that a man bought the car from them new and then years later used it as a trade in to buy another car from ***. That information was what I used to satisfy myself the car must be good, that and a solid ************************************* the engine was from a GM engine series that consumed oil. The complaints were pouring into GM. GM had admitted this engine series consumed oil and released a remedy to replace the pistons and the piston rings and a few other items. Oil was blowing by these components. My mechanic told me that that this series could burn as much as 1 quart of oil per 200 miles and that there would be little chance of me knowing this. What person can keep up with this rapid consumption let alone a 19 year old kid. I talked to *** on the phone and he told me that this engine series was bad so HE KNEW THIS when he sold it TO ME but didn't reveal to me that this SERIES WAS BAD. My son's tears told the story of my foolishness and ***'s deceit of omission.

            There are some very important facts that are missing from this review that we would like to add. The first is that this car was sold 1 year and 2 months ago with ******* miles on it. We have no idea how many miles are on it now, but if that motor was consuming excessive oil when we sold it to you, wouldn't we have heard about it before now? Even if the oil was not being regularly checked or changed, which we have no way of knowing. Secondly, it seems like this review would be better given to GM since they are the ones who built that engine. There are countless recalls, service bulletins, or warranty extensions for almost every make and model of vehicle out there. That doesn't mean every one of them is going to have the issues reported, however, and the roads would have very little traffic if none of them could be resold. We have never intentionally sold a vehicle that we knew had an existing motor problem, and we didn't sell one to you.
