Watts Construction Company Response
01/27/2023
We are sorry you feel this way about our company and your home. You moved into your home in November 2020, some of the items you reference have already been discussed with you previously and some of the items were never provided to us. We do not know where the mold is growing on your windows. If it is on the inside, it is most likely due to a high humidity level in your home which you will need to adjust. If the mold is on the outside of the window or in the track that is normal cleaning maintenance. The stairs from your 4-season room to the ground need to be connected to a hard surface and not just sitting on grass which is why the bottom of the stairs are on your concrete patio. The holes in the walls for the pipes inside which extend outside (utility meters) were sealed with clear silicone and not a colored silicone. The pipes in your backyard are your septic system and the pipe in your front yard is your well. We do not know of any other pipes in your yard. The front porch posts are secured to the concrete floor and the porch beam with a decorative post wrap. A railroad tie was not in your yard when you took possession of the home and when the yard was hydroseeded. If one has somehow surfaced, we can remove it in the spring. However, if it is stuck in the ground and not easy to remove most likely you will need to fix that area of your yard after it is removed. Lastly, you referenced your garage floor. Concrete does crack and in your warranty information it discusses construction tolerances in relation to concrete cracks. Since we have not seen the crack, we do not know if it falls within those construction tolerances or not. If the crack is on the garage floor with dirt below the concrete, we do not understand how you could see light coming from the crack. As stated previously, warranty issues need to be sent in writing to our office and not through email. Service request forms were provided in your warranty materials. Please contact us to discuss any further issues. Thank you
