BBB has reached out to Mr. Charles Jones in regards to this matter, but as of 10/18/2024, has not received a response. 
            Alert:
            The State of Michigan requires that all contractors providing services over $600.00 be licensed to perform services related to the work they perform. As of August 3, 2022, the BBB has not been able to verify that EJ Handyman Services has obtained the proper license.             I see we are not alone in being scammed out of money and services but this man. We paid in full, made that mistake but he actually gave us a sad story on how he needed the money forwarded. He ghosted us and lied and showed up the week of Christmas as if nothing had happened. He told us the check was In the mail and it never was. When a friend of ours asked him about the situation and the check he owed us he just sent a laughing emoji. This check was supposed to be for $3,000. Sounds like he literally steals money from people and Im surprised he has not been in legal trouble. Very sad for him and his family!
