My name is ****** ********, and I hired Superior Services ******** in December 2022 to replace my roof, drawn by their long-standing reputation since the 1970s and their specialization in flat roofs. Unfortunately, my experience has been a nightmare. A section of the roof included in the contract was not installed, despite full payment. The company promised to fix the incomplete section but never followed through, leaving the issue unresolved for eight months. A month after installation, a rainstorm caused water to flow through the stove vent into my kitchen, damaging the ceiling and cabinets. The company temporarily fixed the issue but did not replace the damaged cap or address the interior damage as promised. From February to August 2023, my repeated calls to finish the roof and fix the ceiling damage went unanswered. A severe storm on August 24, 2023, caused further damage, including a collapsed ceiling in the back bedroom. Inspection revealed that the new decking was old and deteriorated, leading to mold growth and rot. Improper installation, including missing termination bars and unsecured vents, exacerbated moisture buildup and damage. Superior Services ******** did not follow proper methods for roof installation and did not respond to city inquiries about the work. I ended up paying for the roof twice due to their faulty work. The owner refused to visit the site, sending underlings who made unfulfilled promises. The financial and emotional stress caused by this ordeal has been significant. I am seeking justice for the fraud, misrepresentation, and failure to complete the contract by Superior Services ********* I hope my story helps others avoid similar suffering.
