      I "had" ASCENSION PERSONALIZED CARE LOW PREMIUM SILVER through the healthcare.gov website and created an account on the portal. The portal didnt show a balance on my account for about a month. Once a balance appeared it showed I was a month behind so I paid 2 months worth of insurance on 2/28. After that I continuously logged onto the account each month multiple times a month with no balance due. I tried to call multiple times between the time of enrollment and 5/17 waiting 45 minutes each time. 5/17 I made a doctors appointment and was told by their office I didnt have insurance. On 5/17 I called and finally got ahold of someone who told me I never had insurance because they payment on 2/28 did not process on their end till 3/7 which was the deadline for my payment and that my plan was terminated. I then let them know that if I never had insurance that I would like to have my money refunded back to me, the person I spoke to told me they would put in the request and that it would take up to 30 days. I followed up multiple time though out the 30 days to ensure everything was on track and each time I called was told different information. Finally on 6/27 I spoke with a manager who assured me that I would be getting my money soon and that the 28th was the 30 day **** and to call back the following day if they payment did not hit my account. it did not so I once again called to get my issue escalated and was then told it should be another 3-5 business days till I received my money. I called again today 7/5 (4th business day) to follow up and was told that the billing department realized that there was an error and my payment was processed before the deadline and that they reinstated my insurance and that I now owe $900+ for back payments. I asked to speak with a manager again who told me she would call me back in a few days. I called again and asked to speak with a VP or director and was told I would be called after a meeting at 1:30PM its now 3. Beware of this company
