The service has been terrible. It is difficult to get a hold of any person as well as resolution of my issue. I purchased a car and have been waiting a month for license plates. I've called and emailed repeatedly. No one returns my emails or phone calls. My temporary number is now expired and am still awaiting the plates.Business response

the customers license plates and registration card were sent out via
Overnight ***** on Sept 12th.
We are actively and proactively following up with our clients to ensure that

I purchased a vehicle along with being encouraged to purchase a whole bunch of warrantees. I would've not purchased a vehicle without the warrantees. The dealership is responsible for registering the warrantees the dealership fail to register many of the warrantees properly and sale to register some warranties I try to register them myself but as a customer I am an able to do so. The dealership management, including Richard N. and Robert S. got involved and recognize the negligence and identify the failure of their firm and promise to make me whole and to have the warrantees honored. They have jumped me from person to person giving me multiple excuses and delays have abused my naivety and trust. I feel this is abusive and potentially organized fraudInitial Complaint

I purchased a brand new top of the line Lexus from Prestige Lexus on 5/31/24. I signed a contract and then they later told me that the taxes had been incorrectly calculated but were unable to provide any details. They acted like I should be glad that I was getting a small refund back. In actuality, it made me question if the rest of the contract was correct. I had no confidence in the finance person who was handling the transaction. He did not appear to know what he was doing. I was told that I would be refunded the extra money within a few days. Today is 21 days later and the ****************** and Sales Manager are not responding to my calls and emails.Initial Complaint

I have a 2023 Lexus RX350 with 15k miles, Vin. Number: *****************. This vehicle was purchased on Feb.2024 from a used car dealership. The mentioned vehicle has an open recall “Campaign#****** - Second Key Delivery Program”, I called Prestige Lexus of ****** located at **** **-17, ******, NJ 07446 on April 4th 2024 at 1:06 pm EST to schedule an appointment for regular maintenance and the open recall, the person I spoke to refused to give it by saying that the carfax does not show anything and when I ask her to talk to a manager but, she tried to convince my that the manager has nothing to do and by the end she replied that the manager is not picking up the phone. Right now, I consider that as a kind of fraud as we are talking about a consumer rights problem with one of the expensive and supposedly reliable brands “Lexus” . We are not talking about a dealer ship around the corner.Initial Complaint

Purchased vehicle and was given 2 keys 1 key does not work at all The 2nd key does not perform remote start - which is a feature agreed to in purchase contract and marketing info of vehicle.Dealer has dodged me and not returned calls for 3+ months. Now that I drove the vehicle back to get the keys programmed (as they instructed me to do so they can fix the issue) they are now telling me thats the key that came with the car and you need to pay $125 per key to be reprogrammed This business is a straight up scamInitial Complaint

I purchased a 2020 lexus is 300 from this dealer on November of last year , I inquired about the car online with no real intent just shopping around no pressure to buy. I was sent the information about the car and immediately a sales person name jov or jav reached out to me ! he told me the car was available and asked me when. can I come the car had about ****** miles when I bought it so it was used when they sent me the car fax it had no major accidents and it didnt say what it said on the full report I printed today so this car has had front end issues my mechanic told me this car been in a accident and if I look at the fender I can tell it was painted and not good ! lexus never told me that when I went to buy my car the salesperson asked me what time i could be there I told him 4 or 5 after work i did all the paperwork to do credit check etc online he assures me it be ready whein I got there when I arrived I sat in the waiting room with my sister and nephew for hours before I. even got to see the car by time I did see it was dark and I was exhausted ready to go home and obviously excited to leave with a new car . little did I know this car has front end damage and they just wanted to push it out as fast as possible me waiting and not looking at anything else was apart of the plan. working a few months of having the car the wheel bearing needed to be replaced my fender line on the left side keeps coming off as a result of the precious owners accidents that was not in the car fax in the original email they sent to me . this dealer has by far or mores o the sales person has been the worst had I know I would have chosen another dealership who would have weighed my option not just push me in this car I could have chosen and would have chose another car or lesser but this salesperson had one thing in mind sell that car to me I regret going and here and wish I would have chose another lexus dealershipInitial Complaint

On October 22, 2022 I purchased a 2020 WRX STI from Prestige Lexus of Ramsey. I came to the dealership with a bank check i my name. I had intentions of signing it over to them to purchase the vehicle. The dealership did not accept this, so I mailed them a personal check the next day. I was told they could not accept it, so i had to overnight a check to them since they needed the money before the end of the month of October. When I purchased the vehicle had told me the car had basic maintenance done on it. When I took at a look at the car the next day after driving it home late that night, I noticed the vehicle only had 1.5 Qz of oil, on the stock filter. The vehicle is supposed to have 4.5 Qz of oil in it. The engine coolant and power steering were both almost empty as well. This is a clear indication that no maintenance was done. Included in my loan, was a registration fee. My car was to be registered in the state of CT. I was able to drive the car off the lot the night I bought it with a temporary plate. This plate expired on November 20th, 2022. I have still yet to receive my plates as of December 19th, 2022, the day I am writing this. I have contacted the dealership, the lien holder, and even the parent company, Lithia, to try and get some answers as to when I would be receiving my plates. When I call, I get sent in a circle or to a voicemail inbox that is full, or when I leave a message, I never receive a response. I have been waiting patiently for 2 months now for my license plates. I need to drive my vehicle to work and back, and I do not want to get in trouble with the state of CT, for a silly thing that is out of my control. If possible, I want to return the vehicle and take my business elsewhere, as this was a huge purchase, and it seemed the dealership only cared about the money and not following up on what they promised me.Initial Complaint

THIS DEALERSHIP HAS THE RUDEST AND LEAST TRAINED PERSONEL I HAVE EVER SEEN. I would not recommend this dealership at all. I was yelled at, hung up and this by their manager **** **** and the sales person ***** ****** is as rude as one can be. After purchasing a pre-owned 2015 Lexus Lx570 from this dealership, they will not give me the plates/registration even though all the paperwork was successfully signed, etc. I have called and attempted to find out if/when I will be getting my plates/registration, my sales person ***** ****** keeps hanging up on me and not offering me any info. I have also attempted to speak with someone else and whomever is answering their calls sees my phone number and keeps hanging up on me. What can I do to get my license plates and registration? Now i'm driving around with an expired temp tags. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter. I will not get into how rude the staff is at this dealership since i've already written a detailed review here on the BBB but i'm just seeking your assistance in getting my plates and registration. I traded in my Toyota Prius for a used certified Lexus 2021 NX 300 with 2000 miles in the odometer; technically, a new car. I purchased this particular Lexus used over the a newer model, because I wanted to take advantage of the extended warranty the certified vehicle carries, which is 6 years versus 4 years on new models. I noticed a slight vibration when applying brakes. I was told the vehicle needed alignment. When I insisted it's not an alignment issue. The mechanic has confirmed the vehicle needs new rotors and brakes pads (front and back). I explained to the salesperson, sales manager and service technician that I noticed the issue and was brought to their attention during my first oil change at 8000 miles of which 6000 miles were put in during my ownership of the vehicle. At 20000 miles last three weeks I went there, the issue was still present, and I was told again the rotors and brake pads need to be replaced at my expense. I don't know about you guys, but people buy newer vehicles to avoid costly repairs such as this. September 6, 2022, I asked to speak with Wayne, the store manger. Instead, someone by the name of Jose called me on behalf of Wayne to get the information and was told Wayne will get back to me soon -- never heard from him. I called his direct line, left a voicemail with no response. I was supposed to visit my daughter out of state in the vehicle for the labor day weekend, the trip was cancelled due to the issue and frustrations my family and I are enduring with this Lexus that was listed on their lot as a certified pre-owned. It appears that the vehicle was never fully tested prior putting a sales tag.
