In June 2022, BBB Serving New Mexico and Southwest Colorado investigated business practices for Shop Inc, Doing Business As, Outletbird. This investigation was prompted by complaints and a Scam Tracker report.

Consumers have alleged the following through BBB complaints and scam tracker: 
- June 14 2022 I made a purchase from outletbird.com. I have made several attempts in various forms to contact Carlos and he will not respond. I paid 89.87 for the item.

- We ordered a pool ladder from this online company and never received the product. The company will not respond to my emails. I started a dispute with PayPal to get my money back and outletbird keeps providing them with fraudulent USPS tracking numbers that show item being delivered. They have sent two different tracking numbers supposedly for this one item. Our local USPS office is a block from my home, they have no record of the item ever arriving into their office. We are a small rural area with one delivery driver for three towns. I provided all of this information to PayPal and they still will not help me get my money back. I have attached the two different tracking numbers outletbird sent as well as the invoice from original order. My mailbox is right in my front yard, the item was never left at mailbox and our mail carrier never delivered the item. I have attached the two different tracking numbers outletbird sent through PayPal, the invoice from initial order, and a picture of the pool ladder. Please help me get my money returned and **** this site down!

- My father was searching for a car port and he found this car port for very cheap. He was suspecious about the price so he tried calling them but the number was disconnected. He then searched the internet about the company and found that others had been scammed by this company. I also searched the address they provided in Google Maps and it was a senior leaving.

In June 2022, BBB checked the website www.outletbird.com to determine when it was created. The website was created on April 4, 2022. 

During the course of our investigation, BBB found this business is not located at their website's reported address on Paisano Street Northeast, in Albuquerque, NM. June 13, 2022, BBB spoke with a representative at the listed postal address on Paisano Street Northeast and they have no knowledge of the business Outletbird being located at that address. BBB is unable to verify the true location of this business. 

BBB attempted to reach Outletbird via their posted email address, asking the following:
- Contact information, postal addresses and phone numbers.
- Documentation of their operations address, such as rental agreement or utility invoice. 
- Information for SHOP INC.’s corporation filing.
- Explanation of their website’s text that they are listing prices in GBP and why it is registered as UK.
The email BBB sent shows as not successfully being received by the business.

BBB also reached out to the business via their phone number, 818-254-8539. To date, BBB has not received a response from Outletbird.

Based on the information detailed above, BBB cannot state with confidence that we have a clear understanding of the business.
