New system installed In January. Shortly after our heat stopped working during one of the coldest days of winter. We called (during office hours) and we’re told they couldn’t send someone at that time. I explained that we live on the mountain and if it snowed it would make the travel difficult. I also explained that it was in the 40’s inside our home. That did not matter. We bundled up and used space heaters. Later on we smelt something burning resulting in a call to 911. Turned out that the wires inside the motor in furnace were burning. Days after no heat, the motor was replaced. Fast forward - we recently had to turn on our AC, which did not work. Our home reached 94 degrees. I had called the Albany office and asked to speak to George, knowing he knew our home and history. I was told by the very rude receptionist that he did not have time and to email him the details as to what was going on. I was then transferred to the service department where I spoke to a very nice woman who was able to get George on the phone to resolve this issue. Service came to try to fix the system. A week later (and living in upstate NY) we then needed our heat again, which was not working. Service was again sent. Everything seemed to be working for about a week. Today, the heat is not working. The heat pump is struggling to kick on. I called & again was spoken to very rudely by the first receptionist and transferred to service who then transferred me to sales. I am extremely annoyed at this point & don’t know where to go from here. We have been left with a $13,000.00 + bill and an unreliable system.
