I strongly advise against using this company. Please read your contract carefully and have it reviewed by an attorney before signing. Don’t fall for high-pressure sales tactics, like being told you must sign by a specific time to get a deal (like included central air). We made that mistake and didn’t have the chance to consult our attorney, resulting in losing our entire life savings on a home we can’t build on our property. When we requested a refund, we were told, “No, you signed the contract.” It’s incredibly frustrating that a company can justify keeping such a substantial amount of money when they haven't provided any services or completed any work for us. In my opinion, this is unethical and simply wrong. The stress of this situation has been devastating. I highly recommend finding another company or ensuring that your contract is thoroughly reviewed by a legal professional before committing. Protect yourself and your hard-earned money—don’t make the same mistake we did!

It is important to note that the only thing holding HVHS back from building your new home are your financially irresponsible actions which has placed your project on hold. Signing a contract of this importance takes a lot of time, effort, and discussion of details by both the client and company. Your contract preparation was no different and you knew the magnitude of the decision you were making. You had a mortgage pre-qualification in place. We worked together for 4 months on the architectural plans and engineering on your home after we went to contract. There was and still are a full set of plans ready to submit. You subsequently quit your job in the middle of building a house and lost your funding. We never have and never will use high pressure sales tactics. When incentives or promotions, such as free air conditioning or any other item are included or applied to a project the promotion always has an expiration date due to dates we are given by the vendor/supplier for that item. This is no different in any other industry. We always advise our clients to have an attorney review the contract prior to signing and there is a cancellation policy clearly outlined on our contracts. We have worked very hard over the past ************************************************************************************************* mind. We are very sorry that your poor financial decisions that affected your credit and ability to finance the project right now have put you in this position.
